Honestly I've known a little girl from the Philippines 💙 and she was a Muslim❤️ and when the month of fasting has come she fasted whole day for 27 days 😶her parents didn't want her to do it but she cried if they won't wake her up before fajr 😆 she was just 6 yrs old and her name was "Iman" they said this name was meaningful in Islam 😮 that was the time my family got interested in Islam❤️ I wrote this in English because lots of daud's fans are foreigners 😁
Your fasting is still valid if you drink or eat after forgetting that you are actually fasting but here he knew he was fasting and still drank so his fasting is not valid but it was great to see a non Muslim try 🙂
Lol, it's kinda true but if someone wants to do fasting, one should find information or be fully informed about it haha including sahoor :" .. but then again, he was good enough for a first-timer, I think :))
It's so funny when Daud's friend said he feels like he is waiting for a ride at Disneyland. It reminds me of this hadith I love!! The prophet said: . The fasting person has two occasions for joy, one when he breaks his fast because of his breaking it and the other when he meets his Lord because of the reward for his fast. Prayer etc is for yourself but fasting is for Allah hence it brings you to God.

Yes I agree. Im sure he can do it. He should take a nap in between. And keep himself busy. Most muslim kids in Malaysia, Singapore n Indonesia start fasting at the age of 5. Daud keep your talking minimum to a 'hangry man' he can eat you😅
Just a reminder for those who weren't already aware: In Islam, for the month of Ramadan...it is necessary to avoid and refrain from not just eating and drinking but also from doing bad deeds. It is a very essential part of Ramadan. It may be easy to forget this, but it truly is meaningless to fast or keep a 'roza' if we do not prevent ourselves from hearing, seeing, and talking bad. I started fasting when I was 9 cuz i wanted to fast and now Alhamdulilah im 13 and i am fasting for 4 years in Ramadan and today is first Rozah (Fast) of Ramadan 2021
I remember you telling this friend that we will fast together in that 'telling your friends you're muslim video ' and you finally did. I was waiting for this one!
We also fast because: 1. it's good for health, our bodies literally get rid of all the poisoning inside. 2.Also to build "takwa=تقوى", it's the feeling of accepting and being certain of all what Allah says and actually be capable to do it. Takwa also means the strength to overcome hardships. 3. finally, fasting is learning to be vulnerable and weak, in order to learn compassion, understanding and acceptance for other human beings. Thank you for reading my comment and RAMADAN MUBARAK everyone ❤💐
*Exactly, Fasting is not just abstaining your stomach from food. When a person fasts, his eyes are also fasting, which means he does not look/watch at evil and forbidden things. His ears are also fasting, which means he does not hear evil things such as back biting, cussing etc. If there is a place where this is happening, you simply stop them or walk away from there. And hence your feet are also fasting, which means, you walk away from the place where evil things happen. Your hands are also fasting, which means you don't cause harm to anyone with your hands - and most importantly (and perhaps the most TOUGHEST one - Your tongue is also fasting, which means, you control your anger, you don't say words that could hurt anyone even though they may be true. You don't back bite, you don't cuss out, you don't scream, you don't speak a lie. Your heart is also fasting, which means you take out any malice and clean it from everything and you forgive people who have done injustice to you, just for the sake of Allah.* *Ramdhan is a month of practice where Muslims are supposed to practice and develop these traits and then try to live the remaining 11 months the same way as they did in Ramdhan, till the month of practice comes again. All the best to you.*
I can relate too in this challenge. I actually tried it before, totally no food and water. The thing that I think important about what I've experienced that time was, I am now more aware of how Muslims feels during Ramadan and so it gave me so much impact as on how to be more appreciative and understanding about Islam. At some point, I had thoughts of becoming a Muslim aswell, but I also understand that it's gonna be a big step for me, and I know I should learn more about Islam first before doing it. I always have warm feelings when seeing videos about Islam, and I'm actually quite surprised that these videos popped up randomly, making me think that "I may be really have a calling towards Islam". Now, I'm still processing it within myself. Hoping to have the best decision that will change my life forever. ❣
Islam is a religion that only wants your strong emotion and faith in Allah.. So if you have faith in The Creator Allah, Allah may ease all your problems and may clear all your thoughts about Islam.. ❤
in Ramadan he is making videos every day instead of studying Quran, Hadith and Seerah. In his other video he ate Iftaar with his friend and didn't even pray Magrib Salah after that If he is sincere why won't he stop making videos and focus on Ibaadat during Ramadan?
@@MK-yt3ct first of all, are everyone focused on pray and ibaadat in ramazan in your country? I am fasting and i do five times pray everyday but i still have free time, so how do you know he is not praying or focused on Ibadaat? Slander and lie is also very bad thing in Islam.
His friend is so funny hahaha. I want to have a friend like that. He totally makes my day 😂😂😂. When he talked to water to wait for him, i replied it so many times hahsha
I'm not a Muslim but sometimes I'll participate.fast together with my Muslim friends.since we non Muslim also have fasting day so I enjoyed it.i feel happy we did it together❤️
Depends. We have many types of fasting.some of it not allowed to drink water.one of it is the 30 day of fasting .but it quite similar with the Muslim way.sad that this year we hve to be quarantine on this ramadhan.lets face this together.stay strong
interesting when his friend said that waiting for break fast is like queuing up for Disneyland, it reminds me of this advice: "Fasting for 17 hours and being full after 10 minutes is a prime example of how fleeting the pleasures of this world are and how small this life is"
In islam we have a rule of tadreej (i.e slow progression) so we dont go n bombard someone with strict religious rules at once. So my advice to non muslim fellows or those who want to fast for the first time, First do short duration fasts like 4 hours 8 hours 12 hours and when you get habitual with them then go for full fast. It is the same way we teach our young kids when they start fasting, normally by the age of 12 that first do half day fast etc and then with some practice they start having full day fast like regular ones coz its a general understanding that fasting is mandatory after you are 12 years old
@@MotorStorm66 yes. My brother starts fasting half a day when he was 6 and start fasting properly when he is 10. Hopefuly when he reach puberty hes probably gonna get used to it and wont have a problem
iam start my first fasting when iam 7 , I will do iftar when zduhur azdan start 🤣 then back to fasting again after it , then iftar again when magrib azdan 🤣 this is how my family teach me 😁 sorry my bad English salam from 🇮🇩
Really cute when he says " i'm hungry!!" but it reminds me about the millions of people who can't have a single meal in a day😭😭. It's also a teaching of ramadan that feed the hungry people, as we can feel their sufferings by fasting in ramadan. Pray for those people and try to help them. May Allah bless you. ☺☺
Daud by guiding others, you're doing what we born muslims aren't able to do. Masha Allah!! May Allah always guide you, More power to you! Your friend's reaction is so hilarious, it was fun to watch, i hope he studies more about Islam InshaAllah!
good thing sister give her books about Islam try to show her this video for bro shamsi I hope it will help her to enter Islam inshallah th-cam.com/video/lgRvCf2mBMo/w-d-xo.html
When we teach our children to fast, usually when they turn 5 or 6 yrs old, we normally tell them to fast half day, until 12 noon for example and we make sure they take breakfast (sahur). This is to train their body to withstand hunger and thirst. This is can continue for a week or so. Then we encourage them to fast longer and longer. Ofc, there are some overzealous parents who force their young children to fast fully right from the start. They will answer to Allah for being cruel to their children. Follow what Rasulullah taught us, not what not good Muslims do. The same technique can be applied by new Muslims. Some born Muslims might ridicule you if you cannot fast fully during your first Ramadan. Let them be. Those are not good Muslims.
Bismillahirahmanirahim means : In the name of allah the most Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Allah is oud lord. he made us and he made the earth and the heavens in six days and everythinf what is inbetween in six days. Allah says in the quran There is no one like me so dont take assign partners to me and dont worship them. Worship only me. Allah made just only earth in 2 days. if everyones lord says worship only me allah why would people worship for example a rock. If a god tells you there is no one like me why would people worship a rock for example. If the rock cant benefit you and cant damage you. the rock cant even see or hear or create, why worship it then. And dont follow a religion or some person blindelings. Because for example allah says pray 5 times a day. for example if I pray and you dont, you are not benefiting from me praying understand? You are not benefiting or getting damaged understand.
Yeah, but the real purpose is to get more closer to Allah, to indulge into Islam more than before, stay away from bad things, to become pious, do Astaghfar, to correct our mistakes , etc etc ☺
During fasting we realized the life of poor people too..... How thy lived their lives without proper three time food..... We can feel the same as thy feel when thy have nothing to eat.... So fasting help us to realize the pain of poor nd needy people and motivate us to help them
@@aoiaoi7061 actually it's not a story . It is true that we get to feel the hunger and thirst which the poor feels , not just in Ramadan but for the rest of their year too. So Ramadan makes us grateful for the blessings which Allah gave us and teaches us how to be patient not only for the minute we get to eat in ramadan but in everything in our lives .
yeah ofc thank you for appreciating and pointing that out but we're not poor for that, it's not something that other people should pity us for. i'm very happy and proud that i'm fasting. have a good day ☺️❤

He trully is a nice guy. :)
When anyone asked a question about Islam from Duad Kim, and he replies we are Muslim, my heart fells so happy that he is a Muslim. Allah Akbar 😊
Daud actually
O opsss my mistake, thanks, 😊Daud Kim
One of the most beautiful episodes. This guy has a beautiful and fun personality.
This is my first Ramadan and I’ve been taught to make it easier on myself by my new Muslim family. It is very hard but I love it and I’m very grateful for this month for what it means and what it stands for. I tried to go to the website and signing in with my Facebook acct through your link, but it didn’t work for me. I just wanted to let you know! Happy last 7 days of Ramadan everyone!! Ramadan Mubarak !! Alhamdulillah!!

Eid Mubarak to you my sister💜💜
Congrats my dear. Eid mubarak
How did it go? I'm only now realizing how hard it is to start fasting as an adult.
@@dammee you get used to after a while, and it makes you a little sad thinking poor people cant find food too and you have hard time doing it for a week
Alao the food you eat when fasting ends feeds really fast for some reason just drink water and a little food and you feel like everything is normal
First time doing it might be a little hard but dont worry you will get used to it
Fasting is not about not eating and drinking only. It’s about praying and observing and meditating and having a stronger connection to Allah.
May Allah make you a reason for many others to convert to Islam
"My spirit is haram but it's gonna become halal"
This is the funniest video yet😂😂😂 Daveyscakes is hilarious I enjoyed every min of this video. His reactions are priceless. I adore him for continuing to fast until sundown despite having a difficult time enduring. The first day is always the hardest but it gets better! I hope he'll try fasting again one day.
This is how many times he said, “I’m so hungry”. 😂

ok

He looks kind, he is so nice and respectful, and funny😂, his personality is so good
I started fasting when I was 9 cuz i wanted to fast and now Alhamdulilah im 13 and i am fasting for 4 years in Ramadan and today is first Rozah (Fast) of Ramadan 2021
Actually when a Muslim wait for Azan to iftar Allah says to angels see my people who are waiting for my voice to iftar..... wow
yes! and when we pray taraweeh he says to them look at my people worshipping me
"Whoever eats because he forgets while he is fasting, let him perfect his fast because surely Allah has given him food and drink." (HR Bukhari Muslim)
yesterday i forgot and drunk d water😂
This thing really happen to me when I was cooking something and by mistake I'll eat it
Actually, he didn't know that should not have drunk water and learned only when Daud Kim told him :)
@Baba Abdul yes I knew it and Alhamdulillah I'm a pure Muslim :-)
I remember you telling this friend that we will fast together in that 'telling your friends you're muslim video ' and you finally did. I was waiting for this one!
MaShaALLAH proud of your friend, he seems really nice
We also fast because:
1. it's good for health, our bodies literally get rid of all the poisoning inside.
Soukaina , Rammadhan mubarak to u too!
Your heart is also fasting, which means you take out any malice and clean it from everything and you forgive people who have done injustice to you, just for the sake of Allah.*
*Ramdhan is a month of practice where Muslims are supposed to practice and develop these traits and then try to live the remaining 11 months the same way as they did in Ramdhan, till the month of practice comes again. All the best to you.*
We also fast to learn and feel how poor people who dont have food feel everyday and to help them after feeling what they feel
taqwa means God consciousness and fearing of God. not what you wrote. so what are you talking about?

And well done Daud!
Fasting is pretty easy, when you have been doing it for as long as you can remember. It reboots you physically, mentally and spiritually. 💪
First i feeled hard, this time it was easy.
Wish you the best! I worked with reverts for a time, if you'd like to chat I'm on insta @t.gemk
Hi...keep on watching videos of yusuf estes a prominent man in church n converted as muslim.due to knowledge...

Brother you have pure spirit and you are really amazing
He is using Islam for views and attention.
in Ramadan he is making videos every day instead of studying Quran, Hadith and Seerah. In his other video he ate Iftaar with his friend and didn't even pray Magrib Salah after that
If he is sincere why won't he stop making videos and focus on Ibaadat during Ramadan?
Calisthenics Wade plzz stop u dont know wat he does behind the camera so instead of spreading hate just go back in ur cave
@@MK-yt3ct first of all, are everyone focused on pray and ibaadat in ramazan in your country? I am fasting and i do five times pray everyday but i still have free time, so how do you know he is not praying or focused on Ibadaat? Slander and lie is also very bad thing in Islam.

When he started to drink water after sniffing cookies, i know that's THE END 😂😂
That was literally when I was 12 years old.
Your friend is so smooth nd warm hearted person and also open minded 👍👍👍
When he sniffed the cookie and then drank water I laughed so hard😂😂 so proud of him for holding out from eating till the very end tho!
Yeah me too 😂
interesting when his friend said that waiting for break fast is like queuing up for Disneyland, it reminds me of this advice:
"Fasting for 17 hours and being full after 10 minutes is a prime example of how fleeting the pleasures of this world are and how small this life is"
feeeqaaa wow I just woke up and this is so powerful I can’t even wrap my head around it
nice saying 👍
He's that one friend that you can chill and had fun with even in hard times. xD
This guy is really funny 😂 and so genuine. Thank you for trying your best 👍🏻
It is the same way we teach our young kids when they start fasting, normally by the age of 12 that first do half day fast etc and then with some practice they start having full day fast like regular ones coz its a general understanding that fasting is mandatory after you are 12 years old
Yep, however, in Islam, the age that you must start doing religious obligations is determined by puberty and not age, right?
@@MotorStorm66 yes. My brother starts fasting half a day when he was 6 and start fasting properly when he is 10. Hopefuly when he reach puberty hes probably gonna get used to it and wont have a problem
Chiri roza😆
@@MotorStorm66 no.. in islam 12 is the age when you have to fast .. you want or not but you have to
iam start my first fasting when iam 7 , I will do iftar when zduhur azdan start 🤣 then back to fasting again after it , then iftar again when magrib azdan 🤣 this is how my family teach me 😁
sorry my bad English salam from 🇮🇩
Really cute when he says " i'm hungry!!" but it reminds me about the millions of people who can't have a single meal in a day😭😭. It's also a teaching of ramadan that feed the hungry people, as we can feel their sufferings by fasting in ramadan. Pray for those people and try to help them. May Allah bless you. ☺☺
Jazakallah

"Bismillah" means "with name of Allah". When you're starting something say Bismillah. It means I start it with name of Allah!
MASHA ALLAH
Yes dear
In the name of Allah not with the name of Allah
Bismillahirahmanirahim means :
In the name of allah the most Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Yeah.
The prophet (S A W) said begin everything the name of allah (Bismilah).
In the name of Allah.

One of the best purpose of fasting is that, it lesson us how poor people have whole day without eating. So it feel us what the poor people feel
Md. Sifat Hossen u Bangladesh or what
Md. Sifat Hossen 💕💕💕
Yeah, but the real purpose is to get more closer to Allah, to indulge into Islam more than before, stay away from bad things, to become pious, do Astaghfar, to correct our mistakes , etc etc ☺
If fasting was only about feeling how the poor feel then god wouldn’t make the poor fast as well.

Poor's fast too our parents told us that story so we would love Ramadan
@@aoiaoi7061 actually it's not a story . It is true that we get to feel the hunger and thirst which the poor feels , not just in Ramadan but for the rest of their year too. So Ramadan makes us grateful for the blessings which Allah gave us and teaches us how to be patient not only for the minute we get to eat in ramadan but in everything in our lives .
