The part in which Batman falls to Earth reminds me of part out of the movie "Hollywood Shuffle". There was a scene in there with a MacGyver/Indiana Jones character, who basically pulled a explanation out of his ass to how he survived death alongside a woman. "Well..the chemicals were affected by the moon's gravitational pull and slowed our fall..." 🤣🤣🤣

A robot that can't catch batman on foot can beat superman who can literally fly to it at super speed, before it has the ability to move a limb and theow it into space.

Also Failsafe: "...by killing Superman, killing Aquaman, mind-controlling Barbara Gordon, and taking over Gotham City."
The League: hey, making plans that could incapacitate all of us was a dick move, especially because you didn't tell us about it and one of our enemies hijacked the plans.
Batman: got it, next time, it'll just straight-up murder everyone and not even I will know about it.
This whole story is "Batman VS Batman's Plot Armor", and it's AMAZING!!!

I wish they’d keep non Batman characters out of Batman stories. Anytime they show up their just extra dumb and just get dunked on for no reason other than to make Batman look better than everyone. The fanfic has got to stop 💀
I think there's something to Failsafe not staying to fight Dick. Not from any sentinel aspect, because he's been shown not to operate with that capacity, but maybe it was programmed with key flaws subconsciously by Batman and his need to protect Dick. Maybe the inherent hesitation with Dick is it's greatest flaw.
Failsafe already beat Grayson twice. Then captured Dick Grayson.

Surviving the fall from space is very possible, remember Felix Baumgartner! He jumped from space and broke the sound barrier with a freefall! This was a redbull project and it went off successfully. Felix actually jumped from space, broke the sound barrier with his body and gravity alone, and SURVIVED. We all know Batman’s suit is Op and hes also a genius. It isnt wild to see him surviving that fall as well.
This is exactly it if Felix can do that batman with an IQ of 330, peak human and knows crazy skills should also be able to do it too. Batman haters ignoring facts.
Writers Ryan North and Chip Zdarsky confirm that Batman's Falling to Earth actually has a scientific basis behind it, the talked to a few scientists about how it would be possible and wrote the scene after it.

How many years has it been and none of the JLA have contingency plans for the weakness. I mean how many times is someone gonna just whip out kryptonite on Superman and he totally isn't prepared or have a an immediate back up plan?

It's like the JLA is so stupid. It's getting old, man. Martian Manhunter weakness is fire and he don't have something set up to counter it. Freaking steal a gun from Captain Cold or Mr. Freeze.
Then this robot can move at the speed of light, catch Superman, and stab him. It's like they just through Superman in this as a Galactus status plot point. "OH, it must be badass if it beat Superman/Galactus. Then batman dares say it's designed to beat batman, not batman and Robin. Really?!
Then the robot designed to kill batman teleports him instead?! WTF!?
The robot is built with highly indestructible alloy inside and out? How convenient.
Batman doesn't burn up during reentry to earth. His suit already can withstand the intense radiation spectrum of the sun and the below zero temperatures of outer space? I guess he always wears that stuff.

IMO the most Batman thing in this is when Tim asks him "What _happened_ to you?" and Batman says in his usual nonchalant stoic Batman voice "I fell from the moon." Like it's just another fucking Tuesday LMAO
Batman writers try not to humiliate other JL members any time they make an appearance challenge: LITERALLY IM-FUCKING-POSSIBLE
Failsafe should have gotten obliterated by Clark in every sense of the word in their first encounter. This man has literally everything he needs to do it. He even has X-Ray vision to know where the Kryptonite Blades are hidden at. Not that he would need it with his speed and reaction time being way out of the league of a robot built by earthly technology. The fact it didn't just get laser melted is crazy.
I get that some people will love this Superman encounter anyway, but to those people, I ask you how you would feel if a Superman comic had Batman try to save Supes from a threat only get mauled to near-death by Doomsday so that Clark, on the verge of death, has to come in and save his poor, outmatched friend? It's a cheap stunt to make one character look cool by making the other look less cool.
In short, it might be a better idea not to pull in beloved characters from the side if you don't want to make them look cool too
Dumbest story I have seen yet from Batman. Ridiculous. They never explain how 'Failsafe' has perpetual energy. He's a robot, but apparently runs off hopes and dreams, and can beat anything in the universe. Why not send this thing in against Darkseid? Bad storytelling, that's why. Totally sucks.

These Batman stories kill me. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool story but come on. The JL knows Bruce has plans for all of them…quite possibly so effective as to kill them. You mean to tell me that not one of them has said “screw this, I’m setting up something to take this d*ck out, because I know he won’t hesitate to do it to me”. It’s just ridiculous. I don’t care how noble you think you are, you’re a fool if just wait for Bruce to totally annihilate the whole team. Bruce can’t have any objections because hey, he started all this.
I especially find it laughable that Diana wouldn’t have a plan to ruthlessly take Bruce out if need be. Remember she’s snapped necks before because it was necessary.
Comics Explained, can you please cover Batman Fear State comics, and Future State, because I do not really understand the whole timeline thing as to where that is, because I know that they are both after Joker War, but I am unaware if it is like after A-Day from the Joker Solo series where Arkham Asylum was gassed and killed like 500 people/characters and Scarecrow was speculated to be dead, so I don't know where all of the Fear State and Future State exactly come in when it comes to the timeline basically, so can you please cover it so that I can understand it better. I have seen other reviews and videos on the Fear State and Future State, but they just blow through it, but you are better at actually explaining these things and breaking them down, so can you please cover and explain Batman Fear State and Future State, please ?
Question not related to the subject of the video: we have seen plenty of times Lex Luthor becoming the POTUS; has ever been a story line/alternate universe where Bruce Wayne has taken that charge? Probably wouldn't be an action packed story, but definitively an interesting one for sure.
I would have liked batman to make more of an effort to gather ship remains, build a protective ball of sorts with is pocket bat welder or something. He did have 12 hrs of oxygen to use some for better cover, 2-3 panels of him shooting his grapple guns to pull large chunks, weld em together and than last second, jump out wnd glide his way into a snowbank, we’d see the big ass explosion, than out of the smoke him glide from above. Would have made it believable… i mean more so. Still cool, loved it, but was obviously a even more batman way to get out of surviving that fall.
That IS a little stupid that Failsafe was over-engineered to attack the Justice League too. If the League was supposed to be susceptible to Batman's planning already, one would presume Batman had already done the deed of neutralizing them.
Batman should have been crushed by space the moment he was exposed. Even IF he survived that, his body should have disintegrated upon re-entry regardless of speed. What did the anti-Batman do against a Green Lantern?

I loved and hated this story. I loved everything about failsafe and the ridiculous aspects of the story (falling from the moon). I hated the giant plot hole that is why failsafe was activated in the first place. Batman, the ultimate planner, who has contingencies upon contingencies, couldn't foresee a villain taking his own life in order to frame batman? A one-off incident like this should have never set failsafe off; batman would have had his programming looking for behavioral patterns -- if he's willing to kill once, he'd most certainly do it again. And if he didn't, then clearly batman hadn't gone rogue or lost his way (so failsafe shouldn't have been activated). Being activated by a villain framing batman seems like a giant oversight on the part of whomever made that (Batman himself).
I said it before I'll say it again this entire thing is a plot by bat-mite. The guy doing the review missed the point where he completes the seal of his suit by taking off his underwear and using that to cover his mouth. The only way any of this nonsense makes sense is a fifth dimensional imp bending the reality rules so that the superhero he is the biggest fan of can have an awesome adventure. There's even a connection between bat mite and the zenn urrh arrh personality responsible for programming fail safe in the first point.
This is the perfect example of why i hate Batman. This badass robot could have cleaned up the city of crime. but instead uses it To kick his own ass 😂

The flash is suddenly not faster than light, superman suddenly forgets he can shoot lasers from his eyes that have star level temperatures, and instead defaults to xray visison against a robot.
