10:43, imagine, if Banjo-Tooie was a movie, and they had to suffer this kind of damage. Chances are they might design the hazards differently to let Banjo and Kazooie survive such obstacles.
Lol I remember that move. I would use it all the time to explore areas and get a good feel for them. I also remember somehow hitting the outside grunty industries area(in the world but not the building.) and hitting the skybox.
For future reference, there's a ladder on the wall to the right of the world entrance when you're facing it, so you can just use that to reach the battery. In fact, that's how you're supposed to get around without jumping into the swamp in the first place.

When getting the first battery, you can climb on the side of the entrance to Grunty Industries. The side has vines that you can grab onto so you don't have to let Banjo get hurt. ;D
I remember there was a washing machine form in BK, too! I thought I was just dead tired but maybe it was just a sign of things to come. I don't know how its triggered but still I remember Mumbo apologizing then changed me back.
@NintendoCapriSun, about that jiggy you find at the top of Floor 1, after all these years I had no idea that it was reachable without the Glide ability. Way to go!
4:27 and 5:11 both of these are ways i never knew about. i always waited until you learned the glide move from hailfire peaks (which i'm pretty sure is how it's meant to be done.)

I actually spent so much time timing to figure out how to get inside, that I just stopped and totally forgot about it and went on to the next world.

For future reference, Dragon Kazooie is said to have infinite Fire Eggs. Use those as normal ammo. You'll never really need normal eggs again.
