That this is awesome but am I the only one wondering why they are spraying the fire and not wetting the other side of the road instead? I know it’s counterintuitive but most of the time they hid the fire line and burn the “fuel foliage” to suffocate the fire. Idk 🤷🏻♂️

I agree. As a wildland firefighter I can tell you that nozzle pattern will drain your water quick. I get it if you're trying to get water far away but it would be best with a 1% foam mix just coating the unburnt fuel or cutting fire lines with a dozer.

@@ljmcobra0520 you don't need water a lot if forestry units just have dozers. They cut fire lines and take the fuel out of the path of growth and the fire can't spread. You'd think these things can spray water all day but that water goes quick, and it's a laborious process to fill it back up.

Fuerza Grecia i mucho adimo España está con Grecia ayudando somos hermanos grecia y España espero que se acabe pronto el incendio forestal de Grecia
California could definitely use them, but Governor would ban them because they look mean and scary
More evil, this is a german Lepoard I Chassis ;)
They are already being used in California. They are call skidengines. Caldor had 20ish of them at the peak of the incident.
Known to cause cancer in the state of California, the label would say.
Nice paranormal logic tell to that governor from a Greek...
How many do you have, how long does a tank of water last at full pressure and how long does it take to refill?

Hello Tankers. Probably more useful to built a couple of this things instead sending them to UA? I ask instead of a friend ;-) ...
That's awesome....Why in the hell doesn't America have units like this???? Could make a great addition to forest fire department
I think other countries should have those too

To be more effective you would need a water supply close by.
Or multiple units to take over after the water is depleted

The spray nozzle is wrong for forest fires
Is it because it is very concentrated and doesn't spread the water?
I think it's too big for forest fires. It needs a huge amount of water to work properly.

A bulldozer would be just as effective, and cutting fire line in already burned areas is pointless.
A bulldozer doesn’t have a water tank
