yaass decluttering videos are my favorite as well, love seeing what people keep. Btw Jamie the hourglass singles are a different formula then the palette, the singles are the "strobe light powders" kind of a looser formula with glitter in them, the palette is the "metallic strobe light powders" lol... but they're so much smoother and more buttery, the palette is definitely the better pick! ( I too am a highlight connoisseur)
I am totally a gloss highlighter girl. I use the e.l.f. Stick highlighter that’s clear! I think it’s called morning dew. I also use the wet n wild powder highlight in precious petals ❤️
Theresa Levitt try Nyx dose of dew and Flower Beauty chubby stick highlighters if you like cream highlighters. I have HL1(cause I be a pale gal) and will never be without either. Pixi makes probably the best drugstore highlighters, imo. They've really stepped it up recently and is giving high end a run for their money. The Elf illuminator (small white tube, black cap not sure of the name) stay far, far away from. It is straight grease and causes most to break out badly.
Jamie Paige it really is! It’s in a stick, so it’s super portable. It’s also not super sticky. A little tacky, which is to be expected, but I don’t find myself pulling my long hair out of it. I put it on my eyelids too 😉
A R oooooo I almost bought that elf one in the white tube, but went for the sticks instead. I travel a lot, and I try to minimize exploding tubes. 😂 I will try out some of the nyx ones as well. I DO have a pixi powder highlight in my collection, and it. Is. So. Good. I agree that it feels completely high end. It’s very soft, so I am afraid to put it in a carry on bag, but I do love it so much!
I love how you did this with a brush... obviously this is how their actually applied.. they're always going to look so pigmented when swatched with a finger .. that's why you're the realist!!

The moon tears highlight is stunning! If you like a subtle highlight, lay down the Laura mercier, or essence pure nude with moon tears right on the high point. Ughh obsessed.

I love the L'orèal highlighter in the lighter version. Before I started getting into higher end makeup that's all I'd use. It's not blinding but it's very reflective and beautiful!
good idea to swatch it with a brush than a finger, so much more realistic, i'm still using mary luminizer to this day, haven't hit pan on it still! i'll never understand why brands make such huge highlighters when you will basically never finish them, so wasteful
skeletondance I agree, I have a bare minerals duo with a powder on one side and highlight on the other and I'm almost out of the powder with almost all of the highlight left....so annoying to have to buy another duo when all I need is the powder.
