It seems like not the Ticuu's issue but network related issue or bug in champion itself that anti overload mod doesn't work well. Last night I was running on Lake of Shadows with friends. In 1 of that try, game keeps showing "stuns overload champion!" message as I shoot one single overload champion with Whispering Slab. Looks like it can happen in any type of bow.
I have found that Wolftone Draw and Arbalest work really well in this strike, I also use a heavy linear fusion but I feel like the heavy weapon depends on your preference.
Why top tree? Wouldn't bottom tree be better? Rifts charge faster and last longer, and you get an arc buddy to help with at least a little bit of ad clear.
Trinity ghoul never seems to have issues properly stunning overloaders but when u need to match ur element for the burn or shields its tricky, I tend to only do content with overloaded if trinity ghoul is useable/practical
Plus with the catalyst that bow is so OP (catalyst means ur next strike is chain lightning after any arc kill including skills and the armor mod that emits an arc wave)

It’s not just bows, Thermoclastic Strike seems to only stun Overload champions for a second and then they begin regenerating. Also stasis and overload do not mix at all, if you stun an overload champion and then freeze him, the freeze breaks them out of stun for some insane reason. Basically you can’t stun and freeze at the same time, only one or the other. I ran 20+ GM last week and overload champions were the most inconsistent pain in my a$$
It's easier if you take the heavy pike to the left on top of hill to shoot the walker with it and faster! But be weary of enemies nearby. Just clean up before doing it!
The overloads are so dumb this season, noticed last week soloing Masters there were tons of times I'd be dumping full charged arrows, making sure to be slow enough to guarantee its full charged and they'd still regen. Watching back clips I saw there were issues with the "Overload Bow" buff appearing even if I had no CWL, no Sunfire Furnace etc so there wasn't any limits on active buffs/perks yet it wouldn't work, while on other occasions I've got CWL, rift, Archers Tempo and whatever else filling the buffs list but Overload still applied. They're so annoying, I'd argue they need a rework.
Rich M No. I'm well aware of how champions work. They sometimes straight up ignore the fact that you're hitting them with constant overload arrows. I'm literally only firing arrows at them to kill them. They are broken.

Overload champs just stupid, i don't even know what Bungie was trying to achieve with this weird design, they just insanely hard to lock in one place and the way they can still shoot you while still stunned is just beyond me!
If you use the other cheese spot up on the right side (the one where the adds can not shoot you), then use contraverse hold and nova bomb. Makes it soooo much easier. It will take more time but it is much safer. No divinity, no well, just grenades everywhere.
I noticed in lake of shadow's, ticuus doesnt work as good as le monarquei found the poison continues to stun them even mid shot so sticking with that for goblins at the moment.

Yes it affects literally everything. So if you're like me and only care about reaching rank 100 season pass asap, then its pointless to use after that till next season. But if you want to grind artifact levels it increases that as well.
you can save about 3-4 minutes time by picking up a pike during the tank phase, it melts it with nonstop firing and u never have to peek so it cant fire at u

@@LostAc interesting. Its when you hip fire then draw bow in and shoot the explosion buggs them up like stasis and they reset. Only way if it happens i can stop it from happening is to not hip fire at all and even then it still happens.
This is crazy to hear cause I’ve done lake fully multiple times and had not a single one reset. I hope that gets fixed soon because that weapon is really fun and I want it to be useful in endgame content

Of course it was 25 arrows for one champion. Aside from this being one of the hardest activities in the game... he was doing it SOLO. 🙄 Which meant that obviously, all of the damage was coming from just him, and there was nobody else around helping him to take those Captains down. It's not THAT bad, when doing it w/friends jeesh. Don't take it out on the game, just because you can't distinguish the difference between what a solo vs squad experience would be like.
@@KabbalahSherry you are missing the point. Endgame content requires you to do it solo. With no definitive end of the storyline in sight, I’m done grinding this game. And that is on the developers riding the cash cow of what’s worked for them so far, keep doing it until people stop buying or playing.

I didnt realise that Le Monarque poison ticks would proc Overload Bow stun! Very useful and well thought out!
it also stops them from teleporting, if you keep moving in and out of cover, they literally stay in place until they die.

I dont even use Ticuus in gm's because its inconsistent af with overloads. Monarquei and normal bows are the way to go...

I think that the issue is a thing because ticuu’s fire stat is not damaging the enemy like le monarque is with its poison
