please make a video on Is DOW worth to get admission into because mostly every student is trying to get into DOW is it worth the hype created in our society and the ranking of med universities.thanks
NOPE. There's only hype and that, too, because Dow picks all the cream and top merit for its colleges. It's the students who do everything they can to reach where they do, Dow has 2% role in it if we talk academically. -80% if you include the admin, lol :P Sincerely, A Dowite.
Aslam alikum.. My question may seem a Lil stupid but I've just passed My FSC and now I was just thinking of getting into medical... So what am I supposed to do now? Bsc? Idk.. I'm confused... I'll appreciate it if you can help (👍from 🇸🇦)
1. Prepare for entry test. Go through the test syllabus, practice mcqs from question pools and past papers etc. 2. Keep yourself updated with admission form dates of desired universities (we usually update about those on our Instagram, go follow us there) 3. Collect your fsc results and get your intermediate certificates made. 4. Get all your documents ready (we previously did a separate video a our documents you need when applying to medical colleges, that might help). For each document get atleast 10 photocopies attested, you'll need a lot of them when applying. Same goes for passport size pictures. 5. Collect the forms when they come, fill them and apply to your desired medical colleges. Some universities have an online form as well as an offline one, and you'll have to fill both of them. Please make sure that whatever digital receipts/confirmations you get online after filling forms, take a screenshot of them and keep them safe. Also do remember the form numbers of online forms 6. Simultaneously, if the entrance exams are being conducted by NTS, you need to register yourself separately for NTS online. After registration they'll send you a fee voucher for exam fees which you'll have to print and pay in your nearest bank. You'll have to send an attested photocopy of paid NTS fee voucher along with your admissions application file. 7. Keep yourself updated with the university admission guidelines and procedures. Also keep checking your email regularly to not miss out on any important email. Again make sure to take screenshots of any important confirmation emails & your registration numbers and keep them safe. 8. After a while you'll receive your NTS exam admit card via TCS. That confirms your registration for the entrance exam. 9. Ace the entry test. Remember to reach the venue an hour earlier as a large number of students appear in tests and queues are long. Keep a water bottle with you and keep yourself well hydrated. Make sure you have minimal stationary with you in a transparent pouch, and you are carrying your CNIC & Admit card with you. 10. Keep yourself updated with universities' admission proceedings, they'll often have notices on their admission pages calling students of different merit number ranges for the interviews and if yours selected, you'll be required to submit original documents to the university where you're getting admission, so keep those original docs safe and sound.
