Hey, I'm a writer trying to sell my books on KDP but I'm having no luck. I tried getting beta readers but the people i know don't leisurely read. I need help.
I would love to know what editing course you took. In oother news, I have always hated writing fiction (love to read it, hate to write it) but listening to you talk makes me feel I could maybe like it one day. 😂😂 That aside, I am 2 chaps in on a new book!! Planning paperback covers for my Kindle and eBooks....and have a good plan with where I am going. Any direction (vids, groups, etc) for writing descriptions and choosing categories? I feel like I am really weak in this area.
Hi Roz! I took one of Susan May Warren's Novel Academy courses. Her courses are in bundles and this course was in one of those bundles. Totally worth it IMO. And I feel like a lot of what she teaches could be applied to non-fiction as well. So there's that! For writing descriptions, to be honest, I am still learning but again Susie May has a class on it, AND there is a Kindle book by Elana Johnson I recommend. It is called, Writing Killer Copy. I will make videos on these as well since you asked.
Hi I'm new in writing in Amazon, i majorly write for fun on facebook but I've decided to try amazon out. i have questions like how much do i sell my books? Sincerely, i don't even know how to start out
You can price your eBooks at whatever price you want. But if you want to take advantage of Amazon's 70% royalty rate, you will need to price your book between $2.99 and $9.99.
Thanks for watching! Let me know if this video was helpful and what you would like to see next!
