This video REALLY gave me a shot of juice. For the longest time I was uneasy about putting covers up because I was afraid of copyright - this seems to be a service that is able to maintain the ability to for people like me to cover the songs we love and allow the artists to still make their end of the share. Informative, but WHERE are the songs that WATH uploads? What search term do I use to actually SEE a song they have uploaded? Is it branded under the Artist or WATH?

Mr Barker. What about Derivative work? I heard when you CHANGE the melody or lyrics and REMAKE the song in your own way its not considered a Cover song any more and so we would need a different kind of Permission???? How do we get THAT permission? Because I do Derivate works, I guess lol. I thought I was doing covers, I guess I havent been. Im not monetizing or anything but I Wanted to Post my Remakes to Streaming services so that my listeners and viewers can just play them without having to go to youtube Thanks a lot Rick, we all love the channel you are helping plenty of people with it. 15:48s My music is distributed by CD baby and if I get a copyright claim on my own music, they need to clear it for me. Was shocking at first but this is reality in copyright - they're doing it for my benefit at the end of the day!
I’m finding lots of negative opinions after searching deeper into WATH. Lots saying no email response after reaching out many times….? Not a good look.
Ohhhhhhh THAT'S why my Lyin' Eyes cover song was flagged. I had no idea. It used to be on TH-cam publishers sometimes shared revenue. That happened on another channel when I covered Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven. Don Henley can block a WATH upload but not if someone just negotiated a fee with say Harry Fox. He should lighten up ha! Just so he knows I sung a bunch of Eagles songs all year long on my front lawn. Got good reviews :D
You're better off uploading your cover songs directly to TH-cam and automatically getting shared revenue with the record label. WATH will take your portion of the shared revenue and give you the breadcrumbs. Wake up!

Also copyright claim thatz supposed to be cleared already. Seems the site is quiet these months. No email reply. But I find WATH helpful.

We are the hits grants for TH-cam only correct? It doesn't allow you to upload your video to Facebook.
