Wallacei - Wallacei X: The Significance of Random Seed Controller

i learned and summarize it is that:
define random seed as "1" in common condition

the random seed name isn't too intuitive having in mind what the same name is used for in grasshopper random node, i think you could change it into 'results randomization" checkbox

It is not the result randomization. This value controls the random seed inside the algorithm, (the seed argument of the random object) that is why it is called the random seed. Random seed in grasshopper is the same thing as well. the seed input to the random object.

@@Wallacei what I mean is if you set the random seed in a random generator to 0 you still keep getting consistent results, just derived internally from the number 0, in wallacei it looks more like setting it to 0 unlocks a randomisation function that generates new random numbers every simulation. That's how I feel it's different from and other random seed inside grasshopper

@@jansen.i Random seed 0 in the UI implies no control over the Random seed inside, but any number except 0 implies there is a control over the Random Seed inside.

@@Wallacei yup, I just found it a little counterintuitive, that's why I suggested a checkbox to enable or disable the control over the seed number not the seed number itself
