The background in the opening shot with Satori is gorgeous. Any animation involving the Komeiji sisters are bound to hit you right in the Kokoro.
My my, that guy that pushed Koishi and broke the cookies apart, he just created a bounty on his head and is definitely going to be hunted down by every Koishi lovers out here. He definitely haven’t been taught about bullying properly, such actions cannot go unpunished

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE
Really like the quality of the animation and how the actions say more than having words spoken.
Especially at the table scene, Okuu gobbling down her food, Koishi imitating her, Satori scolding them and Okuu having trouble with a fork. And of course Orin just watching all this go on.
I've heard that the quietest people are the wisest, and I think that's Orin.
this is so beautiful. i especially love the portrayal of satori here. sitting in a dark spacious castle alone to books and her own thoughts
oh thanks. I really put a lot of effort into this scene. She is very kind to her family, but she wanted to express the loneliness she always has inside.
it’s actually legitimately rare to see a distressed or sad Koishi at all given how her character usually is
though it’s easy to forget she wanted to not be hated to begin with
To be sure, it is a common perception for Koishi to take revenge or play tricks on others.

Also, no matter what, the Komeijis are the best family in Gensokyo; they are so wholesome, and seeing them open themselves to emotion is so wonderful. Rin is the most precious of all, and Utsuho gives so much life and energy.
Actually,I believe every family is the best in gensokyo, except those demons like the videos

Koishi's backstory is one one of the most tragic (heck, most character's backstories are pretty tragic in touhou)
Also, i hope that one Oni annoyed Yuugi in someway so he can go splat!

Agreed. For a series that has no pretensions to seriousness when it comes to its plots - among the silliness, playfulness and the deceptive / manipulative nature of many of its characters... there are also many emotional bits if one knows where to look.
Coupled with what the fans have contributed throughout the years - I find the wholesomeness of it all is one of the most fun and charming aspects of the franchise.
Just gonna call doomslayer on this one, the transitions of the video is amazing and the cute little details like satori's thread making a heart whenever she sees koishi happy. Just chef's kiss

-- Between Koishi's innocence, Orin's happy-go-lucky attitude and Okuu's 'gourmet' tastes (you, dumb bird!) . It's certainly refreshing to see the cast depicted in-character. =)
-- If those random youkai folk are part of your style, I have to say they blend in quite well !
-- The fact your animation is hardly reliant on dialog / voices adds to their specialness.

Between all the wholesome interactions and all between the youkai’s in previous episodes. Watching one of these stories turn sour towards the end..or I guess middle of this two parter, was a genuine shock. Looking forward to the next one!

All this time that you were working on this Koishi animation was so worth it, in just 3 minutes it narrates half of the story in a very smooth way. and as always the animation looking so good!
I don't know what to expect in part 2, you left me intrigued haha.
It has become my biggest challenge to solve it well so that I don't get complaints from KOISHI's fans! I'm kidding, I was going to release part 2 right away, but I postponed it for a while because I wanted to add something. Please look forward to the next episode. Thank you

They unleashed a hell of their own making. The cause of letting irrational fears get the best of them, because really...what do they have to fear from mind readers who want a quiet living in their palace? Getting some little embarrassment seen? Edit: Or rather, forcing Koishi to practically erase herself. I'm surprised that Satori didn't go on a rampage after that one.
Damn. Her backstory really got her, too...

Lots of hearts were involved in this animation, cute ones, ones whose hair had its same color, ones that have a shape/connection with eyeballs, and ones who were broken by the end of the video.

You've somehow made me remembering my fears when watching KKHTA's entire series within a 1 minute bit of your animations, from that aside you did pretty great with the other vibes before things took a darker turn
I think this might be some of your best yet. The environments, indoors and out, look great, the animation has plenty of interesting pieces and angles working together, and I've always loved how easily your stuff can blend lineless looks to something with outlines. Especially the smaller, experimental bits we have going on, that even without words communicate everything someone needs to know. Part 2 is going to be good.
I feel good that I am getting closer and closer to my intended goal. thank you!

In fact, dealing with Koish's story wasn't usually hard work. Koishi perception of fandom is already deeply rooted. I don't even want to destroy it, but I wanted to deal with a Koish story that only I could express.
I really love this depiction of Koishi. I just rewatch the first happy part over and over.
Not many things make me feel tingly on my belly, but Koishi is one of them~.

Poor koishi…. All she wanted was cookies and give them out to her friends and big sister at the palace.
Contrary to her pure intentions, she suffered an indelible wound. However, it is sad that there are many people who get hurt like this in reality. :(

The representations in your art are high detail.
For example: the thought bubble does not simply appear and disappear, it has an effect where it "squishes" and then pops
the emotion in a character also has a detailed representation; for example you dont show one form of sadness you show many kinds in different ways via the position of the head or other methods.
This is where KKHTA begins huh

Such a sad little animation of people not taking the chance to understand the Satori species. I’m very curious what happens next as Koishi seems slightly pissed off as well during the ending, also I need to put up wanted posters of that demon for the Koishi protectors.

I noticed this detail, when Koishi is being beaten up. See that guy with the green clothing? He seemed like he was trying to stop his friend, mostly trying to reason that Koishi was trying to give a gift. But couldn't do anything so mostly he was in shock or so.
Inadvertently, the green clothing friend was put on the blacklist with the man and will soon be punished. How sad is this...
