A bit late to the your channel Gerry, but loving it. We are looking at moving into having some beef cattle next year so really found this video great. The handling is our biggest concern at the moment. We look forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks Dom @Lane End Farm

Great job, I love the ratcheting set-up for the bar for holding them in position.

Fine set up Gerry just one question your dividing gate in the cattle holding area what way are they latched together as I was thinking of doing something similar.

john flanagan hi John, both gates have bars that drop into the ground. Then there’s a simple latch that hinges from one gate to the other and it fits over the box of the it’s folding on to. Make the bars that drop in to the ground as strong you can. If u would like some photos of it to see it properly send me a private message and we can exchange emails and I’ll send on pictures.

Looks a good system there's always a jumper in the herd does the head lock adjust just thinking of different size cattle?

Antony farming it dose adjust but we leave it in position for bigger cattle. You can always get smaller animals to lift their head and catch them with it. We never had to drop it yet.

We brought a new Iae crush with a rotating rump bar, highly recommended and allot safer than the bar you put behind them!
