A virtual private cloud is a public cloud capability that provides you the ability to define and control isolated virtual networks, and then deploy cloud resources into those networks.
Check out this lightboard video with Ryan Sumner from IBM Cloud as he walks through a basic Virtual Private Cloud architecture and explains the many benefits it can provide to a business.

Hi Ryan, can a technical resource create multiple VPC simultaneously (to reduce overall time to be taken for multiple VPC set up)?

This is the clearest explanation of VPC I have heard to date. Thank you!

Is network provision the first step to initiate VPC build or VSI/VM team can start their work simultaneously?

Thank you for this video but I’m still confused!
Thank you for this video, but I'm still confused!
While is accessible from the internet, that's mean anybody can reach the entry point of the service so What exactly makes VPC and in particular private ?Is the VPN connection?
    Is the virtual network ?
What's the difference between an application that allows some clients to access it over the internet by using cURL or by using a bowsers HTTP/HTTPS in a public cloud and an application in a private cloud?
Suppose a web application hosted in a public cloud, but it uses under the hood a private network to establish a network between some services exemple invoking some analytical work; is that part considered private cloud?
What if some third party wants to use the analytics results of my application?
Is this still a private cloud?
I understand a little bit what is cloud, and I did some labs with scaling options and private networks' firewalls and load balancers... but the concept of private cloud vs. public cloud is still foggy.
    Could you please clarify?

May I ask what kind of tool Ryan used to do this presentation? It's cool to draw things in front of him.
