    Great tips, especially the one for “spread your shoulders and open your chest”, this tip got me instantly improved on my serve power. Many coaches say “more take back”, or “bend your back”, or “elbow up”, but not so intuitive for me...

    Good video. I find that pronation is the key to crushing the first serve. After you get everything else right, if you don't pronate well, you will not achieve 100+ mph. And the pronation has to happen at the very last millisecond.

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's certainly is important! Not to a point where you can't serve fast without pronating well but very important and definitely something to look out for!

    What are areg and grisha's rackets? And did they customize?

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Areg has a stock Head Graphene 360+ Speed MP and Grisha uses the Head Gravity Pro that has been customized with 7 extra grams.

    • @sayginisbay2365
      @sayginisbay2365 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Does areg has any control issue with speed mp?

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Areg doesn't but the racket is very powerful. For me (Grisha) for example it's a little too much.

    • @sayginisbay2365

    When should you release the ball when you toss the ball

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The most common moment to release the ball is about half way through the movement of preparing your swing. As you're guiding your racket, back to prepare the shot, try releasing the ball when your tossing arm is horizontal to the ground. That's just a guideline for you tho, try to do what feels natural.

    ok, how about slice serve on the Ad for a righty? If I want it to break away up the tee? I stay sideways, continental grip, ball toss almost parallel to baseline. Still cant get it to curve away

    • @gladiatorstribe
      @gladiatorstribe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do make sure that your racket is coming in contact with the ball with the proper angle. You have to almost try to hit the side of the ball. If the ball was a clock, around 3 o'clock. Try exaggerating the serve and on the ad side serve to the deuce service box. This way you'll understand the movement better. Hope it helps!
