I absolutely love your videos, and they inspire me to work on my own trail system I began building because of you. This video is my favorite by far teaching us all about a modular and easy to make backyard feature!
Backyard Trail Builds I mean I had to say something! I just finished a starting tower (inspired by yours) and now I have to move my jump a little ways back so I can get enough speed... Now I also will have something to work on my tech skills right in the backyard!
Me and my friend have recently started an mtb trail and today we built a 2 foot lip however we were lost for ideas after that, now that I have watched this we will have new features in no time, thanks so much and keep it up
XC Ben DUDE YOU SHOULD BE! After riding all the skinnies I built through the winter I got extremely good at techy sections on my local trails. Like, SO much better.
Great video! It's easy to get overwhelmed at trying to build backyard features, but your advice is the best: use anything that you have and keep it simple!
Amazing video man! Very helpful! I’m thinking of building a larger teeter totter, I already built one exactly like the first feature in the video and I ride it a ton
Much appreciated 🙏 I myself have quite a small backyard and I LOVE to ride my bike and hit jumps and all that these tips will def. Help me develops my skills. Anne I hope to start building my own track and maybe even visit yours in the future. That is if you would let a random person into your backyard
Soo my buddy and I recently built a seesaw/teeter-totter for our local trails. Come to find out a few days later that we had built the one feature that isn't covered under SORBA insurance. We could have built a 40ft gap and that would have been covered but not a seesaw. They said articulating features are the only thing that isn't covered. crazy right! So we had to take it apart and build something else.
I made the teeter totter (with a 2x6). Still have to get up the nerve to go up it. Please post more simple ideas like this, especially simple features for beginners. Also, do you have any videos on your tools? Thanks!
It really makes me mad that you’re putting out such great content and you only have a couple thousand views. In my opinion you deserve SO much more. Keep up the great work
This is perfect. We are looking to add some features to a small trail system that these would be perfect to add into the trail. Do you have and advise on building pump rollers?
S Squared Design Works Honestly, no. I wish I could say that I do but I haven’t gotten a chance myself to build any. Good luck though! I’m sure its kinda a lot of trial an error type stuff. Let me know how it goes!
Either search on Craigslist for lumber or logs. Literally type in cedar logs. Lots of people tend to sell them on there. OR search for a local saw mill.
When you say "wives" it makes you sound sexist. Women and wives ride too! My "husband" might be mad if I make a big track in the backyard. Maybe saying "spouse" woulda been the better choice....

Scojopo23 that is by far my favorite comment! I get so freaking stoked to hear things like this, so thanks for saying something!

We need more small scale stuff like this on TH-cam!
Another banger! Good stuff on the 2 x 2!
The Singletrack Sampler Haha ya its a bit ridiculous, but still fun to mess around on!
Maybe one of my favorites so far. It's like trail LEGOs!
That’s kinda what I was thinking! It’s definitely as fun as LEGOs!
Me and my friend have recently started an mtb trail and today we built a 2 foot lip however we were lost for ideas after that, now that I have watched this we will have new features in no time, thanks so much and keep it up
Super Helpful! I put every single one in my backyard trail.
Nice dude! Not a skinny type of guy but tons of people will love this! Love ice cream!!!

Great stuff. I was needing some more ideas for my backyard trails.
I told my wife whatever house we buy has to have room for a dirt jump. She's on board!
You are one of the luckiest people in the world!
No kidding you have a great wife does she ride
Congrats! I hope you NEVER find the PERFECT house.
Bravo, dude! Great videos. Looking forward to making some stuff out back
Amazing video man! Very helpful! I’m thinking of building a larger teeter totter, I already built one exactly like the first feature in the video and I ride it a ton
Do it! Have you tried using a 2x2 for your teeter totter? So hard!
Backyard Trail Builds hah I will try that soon 😆
Great idea. I just started building my own trail a couple days ago and looking for ideas found you today.
Thats awesome! Thats exactly what the channel is for!

Great stuff, man. I’ve had tons of features at my place over the years. Not quite that skinny though
Awesome! More like this, please

Nice. I need to get some more practice on skinnies. I had a pretty bad fall on one that was around 3' tall and I've been leary of them since.
Great videos
I like the chickens going around in the background
So awesome. I can for sure do this cause on my land there are places I would like features but I can't put anything permanent in. Thanks bro.
Lifted Adventures Heck yea, Jeremy! You should do a video on it if you make something!
@@BackyardTrailBuilds I will try. Don't know if it will be as awesome as your vids though

How did you build that greenhouse in the background? We need one for our other channel @Highland Homesteading
Noice 👍👍. I want to put some features in my yard in Flagstaff 🤙🤙
It really makes me mad that you’re putting out such great content and you only have a couple thousand views. In my opinion you deserve SO much more. Keep up the great work
Well thanks for watching and saying that! I wish everyone had that opinion!!

Good stuff, qiarantine project! And random chickens... nooice
Soo cool idea mann 😎😎😎

okay that was GOOD..deffinately gona try it
Nice dude! Get on it!
Backyard trail build, would you know where to buy logs? Because I don’t cut my own or anything like that
Either search on Craigslist for lumber or logs. Literally type in cedar logs. Lots of people tend to sell them on there. OR search for a local saw mill.
Go to local forest or place with trees they’ll be lying around
Your song had my head bobbing. Is that a rotating compost machine behind you? Looks like it churn out some freshness
Hands for Maps YES IT IS! Made it a good while back and it sure do churn the freshys!
I was wondering what the hell that is lol
Love it
Whooooo!
Do another live stream sometime
Matt BMX Ill probably do another one here soon!
Restrictions necessitate creativity!
😎
That was cool. Step 1 get a backyard 😅
Or maybe a friend with one!?
Every one likes the looks of dirt jumps
2:08 is that a bird or a leaf?
Definitely left my bird out.
I've put my features in the front yard. My front yard is very small. My wife is not happy. 🤣
Thanks abt to make a tetter totter
Those are some good looking chickins
Yes they are! Theyre my little spoiled girls.
Are you Seth?
I think so...
Can u do something like this but a kicker ramp
Make an UPDATED VERSION!
Poop I thought you was gonna say you were coming to my house to help build some features.lol
Mtnbkmaniac Maybe in the next video!
what is this music tho
I came here for the Marijuana Tree?
Aahhahahaha you gonna have to come a lot further than that!
I love your username
You got ads now? Alright!
I put em on each video after a week or two goes by. That way anyone that subscribes normally wont be subject to them.
Did he really just call a drill a screwdriver
For those of you that can't afford logs, they can be replaced with cats.
bonemaster J AH forgot to throw in that tip! Thanks for the reminder bonemaster J. Good to see you’ve moved from the chickens to the cats!
@@BackyardTrailBuilds I like to keep it organic.
wives, girlfriends….???? women are into learning MTB skills too you know!
When you say "wives" it makes you sound sexist. Women and wives ride too! My "husband" might be mad if I make a big track in the backyard. Maybe saying "spouse" woulda been the better choice....
Dump the music.
