use the censered finisher, make sure you dodge back infront of the plate so the nights can go in the middle of the plate , then wait for crota to go to you when he's near or in the center of the plate, use your finisher. make sure when you are waitng for crota you are at the left of that green ruin infront of the plate, left as in looking at the sky infront as left.
how the hell are you able to survive so much. i keep trying to set it up and everything just does too much damage before i can get crota to do anything (also how do you get your crota to move up instead of just staring at the knight)? even with triple arc res everything just does too much damage, yet, somehow you're able to get everything set up without even getting to half health
Is there any secret for keeping the knights still on the top plate? I've been getting it once every 10ish runs but the knights keep following me even after i invis so they're always infront of crota and hugging me when he charges from the left.
Once you dodge and land on the small circle on the plate when the knights are chasing you, don't sprint or jump, simply walk down to the symbol and the knights should stay at where you when invis.

The biggest thing for me is to make sure crota is watch you then run up to the plate where you want the knights to go and wait there until you see him start rushing, then go invis and step slightly behind him so that you can send him forward and to the left. Good luck it does actually work with practice it's how I got necrochasm!
I was able to do it consistently a few times and then all of a sudden Crota's AI changed entirely. He'd start running circles, running waaay too far left and sometimes he'd just not aggro me at all.
I got it to work once. Now, crota just REFUSES to follow me when I invisible dodge. The other knights follow, but crota just stands there on the left bridge, staring at the knights
It took a few tries and was finally able to complete, so happy for the loot and thank you! However I lost the checkpoint for both normal and master due to excitement and slow recovery and can’t get those back now. Is that my fault or is something wrong?

However I finished the encounter and completed the weekly challenge (at least that’s what I think locked me out), So when I went to go back and restart the encounter I lost the checkpoint. I even tried to reset the checkpoint with the bot and could never get it back..
I just completed the "All For One" challenge by doing this so that one does count for sure. I also have the "Singular Sensation" completed but I don't remember doing that one.
This tutorial is great and all but for some reason my Crota loves to just sit at the middle of the bridge after he starts going to the middle. I follow every step exactly the same, but it seems my Crota is smarter than yours and doesn't go to the middle. It's extremely fucking annoying

I liked doing just one knight cuz it felt more consistent, and was faster to kill the opening enemies with super and eager sword. Then just bouncing nades to blind. If i felt to close to death, i would try to trappers ambush away from the knights and reset cuz it was faster than dying lol I also had a The Call with strategist for extra class ability energy to reset, then just went max resil, then mobil, and had the aspect that if you get a kill while low health you get an over shield. And i luckily had a energy blinding+auto loading. Decent results

You can do it with any fireteam size. The remaining players need to hide in the rocks near one of the towers. Multiple people trying to do this honestly makes it harder. Youll be doing all the work anyways, unless someone else wants to do it. Then you'd join everyone in the hidey hole.
EDIT: Heard that the checkpoint may get lost when relaunching the raid in a team. I don't have confirmation on this, but if that is the case, just have one person hold the checkpoint on another character and do a character swap after completion. Yes. Only one player needs to do the work.

Valkyrian impaler finisher, crota have to be between you and the finishable knight

Why not keep all knights alive? Is it easier with 2 chances to yeet?
I tried with all six alive, there are too many targets, they all swarm the location and you likely won't finish the right one

Took some time to understand what to do. After that, I can do it pretty consistently, around 2-3 attempts on average to get a clear.

When it's the featured raid of the week (current week), red borders will be farmable. So, you can do this multiple times to get red borders.

probably left too early unfortunately :/ happened to me too. You gotta make sure you hear the activity completion sound/song
