I thought the same thing, and for a movie this long. They must’ve had to use the studio for something else or recorded really late, Barrette has been working like crazy tho 🫡
Hans wrote most of the main themes for PoTC, but couldn't do a lot of the recordings due to other film obligations (The Last Samurai) so he got good buddy Klaus to finish up stuff and gave him the credit. He then took over for all the sequels
If you’re interested in media set in Rome then you can’t do much better than the HBO series Rome, if gladiator has you hyped up then definitely watch it.
I remember that the reason Maximums grabs the soil before a fight is because he was a farmer and he has a habit of checking the soil… before adding fertilizer aka dead bodies. (Ok I added that last part but the soil/farmer bit is true.)
So glad gladiator in review is happening, but the fact this is under an hour while. Magic mike, mortal kombat/ balls of furry, madam web, space jam. Are almost twice as long, idk. Top three most disappointing in review with fast five and Batman and robin. Where I was hyped then nick shit on it, or Greg was there but they didn’t do the plot.
I really like this movie. It's dated as hell, but it's just captivating. That said, I hate the sequel. One of the least earned, most un-needed sequels ever.
Might have missed a calendar mention of it but PLEASE review Wicked!! This movie is all the way up Tim, Andy, & Joey's alley at least. Im sure Bless, Nick, and Barrett would get plenty out of it too. Throw in Greg as McGonagall bc why not
@@LoveFactorySweatShop they have done one-off reviews for In Review before (Barbie comes to mind). Even if they did lump it with movie musicals, there are plenty great & awful to choose from like Hairspray, Les Mis, Into the Woods, Cats, Rent, West Side Story, and others. But come on. Wicked is easily an Oz In Review franchise contender. Or better yet, just review these two Wicked movies.
Should just expand it to historical epics in review. Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, etc.
Seconded! And add The last Samurai.
Only 58 mins for gladiator. I have seen Nick spend double the time recapping shorter movies. 😂
You don't get to pick what movies mattered to you

I really hope they do pirates of the Caribbean in review soon. I just want to hear Nick recap the 4th movie and all its ridiculousness.
@@papa-jerbear4392 I just want them to explain to me why hans zimmer takes ownership of the score when he didn’t do the first one
Best part of the movie, when he takes his helmet off and reveals who it is.. and yall spend 20 seconds on it.

Can't believe we got Gladiator In Review before Alien In Review...
I can't believe Gladiator in Review is happening before Alien
At least they can review the movies as a lead-up to the Alien show.
Alien Romulus is on Disney +, everyone!
@hawt_dawg_man Oh snap it is!? Gotta get on that
Is because Gladiator 2 is out.
Just watched this for the first time to get ready for the sequel! Perfect timing as always KF
It absolutely sounded like Pirates of the Caribbean, I thought I was going crazy!

34:15 we need a Spartacus In Review go through all the seasons….
I remember that the reason Maximums grabs the soil before a fight is because he was a farmer and he has a habit of checking the soil… before adding fertilizer aka dead bodies. (Ok I added that last part but the soil/farmer bit is true.)
I already listened to the audio but had to come here for the intro 😂
52:29 - “They may take our lives, but they’ll never take Our Freedom!”
Or
“Freeeeddoooom”
Or
“Every man dies. Not every man truly lives.”
That intro still gets me every time 😂😂😂
10:35 - They should do Braveheart for another movie of that era with a similar feel. :)
Super excited for the Gladiator II in review. I have many thoughts on it that haven’t been quit reciprocated by reviewers yet.
I always read that when he spoke about his two horses, he was really talking about his murdered wife and son.
reusing the jurassic park animation hmm?
funny, but a little lazy
Why not? lol
Yes that's the joke
There is no shot 2 movie or villain beats 1 😂 2 has shotty CGI baboon/dog hybrid and a much less built up ending despite being 2.5 hrs long
Thank you Tim 🙏🏽
I'll admit, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It's not really my type of movie, but I have to acknowledge how well made and well-acted it is.

LOL Good one Cameron. Poor Nick.

We who are about to die salute you is routed in roman origins, not ACDC haha just fyi

You guys need to get it together. 58 mins only on one of the greatest movies ever made. You should be ashamed of yourselves
Gladiator 2 5/10
No review of Wicked?
Broadway isn't a franchise.
