- A day of light movement training at the famous Cathedrale spot in Evry, Paris. Action by Stephane Vigroux, Seb Goudot, Kazuma and Julien Vigroux.
The London Parkour Academy was the first and is the longest running parkour/freerunning teaching framework in the world, established by the most experienced practitioners and coaches of parkour/freerunning.
Classes range from beginner to advanced, for all ages, both indoors and outdoors all year round. No breaks, no excuses, just good, hard training and great fun. The original and best.
Our Goal
We build better people through this transformative movement discipline known as parkour or freerunning. We do this through teaching, performing, educating, designing, consulting and building incredible commuities all around the world.
Holistic
Parkour is the ultimate holistic discipline, a true transformative practice that requires absolute unity of body and mind to overcome the challenges and tasks in one’s path. We think this principle of the integrated whole individual can and should be applied across every aspect of one’s life, from training to work to relationships to strategies and much more. Parkour is as much about mastery of one’s own life as it is about mastery of one’s own movement.
Applicable Strengths
Being grounded in real-world challenges by its very nature, parkour expects, develops and prizes functional attributes over all others. Parkour, at its core, is what works in any given situation to complete the task at hand - in physical terms this means the strength, coordination, speed, balance, spatial awareness and agility to move one’s own body across any terrain with confidence, surety and control. In mental terms this means having the courage, discipline, perception and self-mastery to be able to decide upon a course of action and then carry it out as perfectly as possible.

Yeah I have to say this is one of my favourite parkour videos ever.
The flow is SO good.
I like the begining of this, because it shows a little of the process every person has to go through in order to finally go through a particular move.
all 3 are inspirational!!! 1:08 to 1:10 - love stephane's run-up. its as if he's gliding!!
I watch this video so much, because it's not to show off.. this is how you have to train to be good to yourself, not for anyone else
the best as always!!
one of my favourite vid, PG respect.
LOL at Stephane screaming when he missed the cat.

could you tell me what is the name of the song in the intro?
"if your a beginner you shouldn't be on roof tops at all.... "
I have normal running shoes (expensive ones) and they do just fine everywhere i go . :)
I like black guy, he was little bit scarred but he managed to jump at the end. He was realy trying and he succseded.
ive stared like 2 years ago with friends and we got into it and we climb builds and shit so fun Xd
The place where I'm training is a small so called ''village'' inside a city in Finland... There ain't a lot spots here, so usually I train in the forest near my house.
Music at the beginning?
It's all relative, for someone of Kaz's skills and experience that was a light day, same goes for Stephane and Seb Goudot.
@bowd19 videos like this usually aren't about showing off. they are about showcasing their training methods. the point of training them is to make everything come naturally to u so you don't have to think. the biggest part of parkour is training, plus is really hard to get a camera on a guy that has an awesome path like you talking about.
i want learn too :-(
buen video se lo k se siente fallar y fallar pero la alegir de lograrlo nadie t lo quieta
jeje sas pues kuidense
the kissparkour
Mike you could damage any part of your body doing anything in Parkour, if any thing your more likely to hurt your self slipping on a take off of a jump, plus if you can do flips well and confidently there's no risk... that's the whole point of drilling and perfecting them as well as other aspects of Parkour.
@deaducr lmfao thats cool man! xD my twin bed has a slanted wood holding the top bed.so i do a wall spin on it and fall back on the floor and kip up.stuff like that.now i feel like recording it xDD....i shall
let the world be ur playground
train everywhere and anywhere
a good pair of tennis shoes with grip, I use nike darts, a t-shirt, and a pair of swear pants
maybe its because we see a lot of the "human side" of the traceurs here, especially Stephane, I think we can connect to it because, as traceurs, we all experience fear of failing the stunt. :D
julien is the brother of stephane and johann?
nice ....but you have to change the place :) ...i know the title was 1 place ...but ...you have to change the place ;) ....anyway ...ncie moves
I've only met one finnish guy doing parkour, he moved to London.
No, just a decent pair of running shoes. doesn't matter if your on rooftops or not, although if your a beginner you shouldn't be on roof tops at all....
yeah its kinda hard to train alone
but still
nothing is imposible with parkour
tall traceurs can have just as much agility, AND we have a height advantage for the high jumping... :D Everyone moves differently. Not better or worse, just different.
Bonobo-if you stayed over
.................. en fin
You should always bring your phone while training parkour, or if you train in groups, atleast one should have a phone incase of accidents.
man if u want to learn parkour.start now!.go roll on ur bed jump back down!jump back on it backwords!palm spin to ur sofa!u can do alot in ur house.i came up with alot in my small little room! lmfao!just try it out!its not only outside
small traceurs move better, because they have agility and jump high :D
"light movements"...yeah I know
sci kvid and :( for me i broke my fone doing parkour yesterday weel tort me sumthig never take phone wen u go parkour
hesitation!!
yeah "light movement" yet the first shot is kazuma prepping for a while on what seems to be a not so "light" saut de chat... evidently some of these movements are not that light.
Please help me get 1000 views on my newest video :)
not at all, when you short you have less amount of leg to pull up when jump over something believe me im 6'2
If someone read this who lives in Zurich and does Parkour please answer me, because its really depressing doing it alone.
2:30
i wouldn't do it =s
this vid is about conquring your fears not doing amazing parkour "moves"
lol its not really a jump tbh
hell no! do you ever see tall gymnasts?
