  • A day of light movement training at the famous Cathedrale spot in Evry, Paris. Action by Stephane Vigroux, Seb Goudot, Kazuma and Julien Vigroux.
    The London Parkour Academy was the first and is the longest running parkour/freerunning teaching framework in the world, established by the most experienced practitioners and coaches of parkour/freerunning.
    Classes range from beginner to advanced, for all ages, both indoors and outdoors all year round. No breaks, no excuses, just good, hard training and great fun. The original and best.
    Our Goal
    We build better people through this transformative movement discipline known as parkour or freerunning. We do this through teaching, performing, educating, designing, consulting and building incredible commuities all around the world.
    Holistic
    Parkour is the ultimate holistic discipline, a true transformative practice that requires absolute unity of body and mind to overcome the challenges and tasks in one’s path. We think this principle of the integrated whole individual can and should be applied across every aspect of one’s life, from training to work to relationships to strategies and much more. Parkour is as much about mastery of one’s own life as it is about mastery of one’s own movement.
    Applicable Strengths
    Being grounded in real-world challenges by its very nature, parkour expects, develops and prizes functional attributes over all others. Parkour, at its core, is what works in any given situation to complete the task at hand - in physical terms this means the strength, coordination, speed, balance, spatial awareness and agility to move one’s own body across any terrain with confidence, surety and control. In mental terms this means having the courage, discipline, perception and self-mastery to be able to decide upon a course of action and then carry it out as perfectly as possible.

    I like the begining of this, because it shows a little of the process every person has to go through in order to finally go through a particular move.

    @laduzi2 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @bowd19 videos like this usually aren't about showing off. they are about showcasing their training methods. the point of training them is to make everything come naturally to u so you don't have to think. the biggest part of parkour is training, plus is really hard to get a camera on a guy that has an awesome path like you talking about.

    Mike you could damage any part of your body doing anything in Parkour, if any thing your more likely to hurt your self slipping on a take off of a jump, plus if you can do flips well and confidently there's no risk... that's the whole point of drilling and perfecting them as well as other aspects of Parkour.

    maybe its because we see a lot of the "human side" of the traceurs here, especially Stephane, I think we can connect to it because, as traceurs, we all experience fear of failing the stunt. :D
