after months of hearing your praise i ordered a box of duke's mayo. i had been pretty apprehensive of buying mayonnaise made by a dog, but when it arrived today i just had to try it. made a ham sandwich, and man alive, i wish i jumped on this wagon sooner. it was just so smooth and creamy with just a hint of tang. after reading the ingredient list the use egg yolks instead of whole eggs like other mayos. they also use cider vinegar instead of just the standard white. after 40 plus years of storebrand miracle whips, i've been converted. i'm a duke's fan from here on out. thank you sir, for all you do.
i was talking to pastor rod today about the channel and we agree. anytime i feel down i can watch mr kents videos and it levels me out and pastor said the same. thank you mr kent for a wholesome channel.
The other day I was telling my dad about Kent and how he has a lot of inspiration in how I cook, being that I am also from the prairies in SW OK. Smoke is the best way to do a rib roast! I reverse sear mine. Smoke the rib roast to about 118-120 degrees then rest for 10 minutes. Then put in a 500 degree oven for 10-15 to get your crust. Happy Holidays!!!

So i just made this , well very similar to this . And i found out when it is -10 below and i get to the waiting stage so i go feed the cattle and watch the traeger temp on my phone in the tractor that a traeger is not capable of keeping a good enough set temp in -10 degrea temps plus wind chill . It ended up way over done . But still a great roast after coming in from doing chores in temps that cold . Cattle are fed buddy got a bite i am fed and everyones happy . Thanks kent and Shanon for some great recipies and guide lines .

As many of my family are in healthcare (as I battle cancer myself) your “tip my hat” to healthcare and first responders, is even more heart warming. Now that the war is at home, America needs to arm up with masks and preventive measures so COVID can fade out with 2020. So please stay safe, and help spread the word, masks save lives.
I made a modified version of this recipe this Christmas and it was phenomenal! Everyone raved about it and the leftovers made outstanding steak sandwiches, with a garlic, horseradish sauce. I smoke my seasoned Prime Rib on my Gorilla Grill Wood Pellet Smoker at 225 DegF per pound per hour. I have never had a bad roast. 6 LB at 225Deg for 6 hours low and slow and when internal temp is at 140 to 145 Deg roast is perfect. I prefer Cherry, Apple or Pecan wood.
