my friend has auto run on so if he holds foward and down he does a dash crouch cancel thing, its kinda useles but he has stalled a move and j-baited me... so whatever
Alpharad use WASD for movement. Tap jump. P normal. O special. I dodge and parry. U for heavy. It is my loadout for rivals and I do really well for a new player on keyboard
Keyboard is actually chad godtier once you adjust, it's just really difficult when you've played controller your whole life and you also need time to figure out your own bindings, since that's part of the beauty of keyboard fighting games.

I'm a veteran keyboard smash player, I've mastered Kirby in Smash Flash, but goddamn did they break the run button in the new version, now it's close to unplayable.
As somebody who's played SSF2, only ever with a keyboard, and can only imagine how different the keyboard layouts are, I don't understand how hard this could be...
The hard part is just adjusting and forming new muscle memories. What would happen to you if you suddenly had to play SSF2 on an N64 controller with no practice whatsoever and no adjusting whatever the default buttons were and you recorded footage for the first 30 minutes? That's basically this video.
I play this game with a keyboard. It's fun, but clunky and hard to control. Can't do wave dashes at all. (Never was able to do those in any smash game anyway though. :P) I find Maypul the easiest to control with a keyboard for some reason.

I did notice that you were wearing like 4 layers of shirts though and had sweat stains going down your back, which was kind of weird. and that you had a tattoo on your fingers that spelled "yung link" on both hands??? That character isnt even good. Then a friend of yours popped up and you kind of just left but your friend stayed and talked with me. we talked about how weird you were acting and he told me thats just how people become when they get over 10 subscribers on youtube. thats pretty sad but i understand. then you came back and you were red and steaming with angry vibes because you could kind of tell we talked about you somehow. You smacked me in my thigh and I just went "wha-" and you screamed "NO MORE TALKING OF ME" it was so freaking weird dude. You had your 20 small petite goons drag me out of the malls food court and I screamed willy nilly saying things like "LET ME GO, SECURITY PLEASE I JUST WANTED TO MEET HIM, THEYRE HURTING ME" but nobody really cared to even look over for some reason. i guess the food their was like really good because they all just looked at their plates. Anyways, big fan, much love. keep it up

I used a keyboard for my first 70 hours of gameplay. It's not bad after you get used to it. The default keyboard controls are terrible though.
