I got to tour with these guys last year in my old band on the Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour alongside Alesana, Sleeping With Sirens, Memphis May Fire and Attila. Seriously some of the nicest guys and one of the hardest working bands out there. These guys not only work hard, but they fucking bring it. It was a lot of fun hanging with these dudes. It's rad seeing that they shot this video on the tour we did together. Love you dudes!
I went to this is at Pomona glass house… fucking insane how much time has passed and how original all those songs were back then.
Emo was not a phase, I still love to hear this songs even now on 2024. ASD is really an awesome band that are now returning to the trenches, still doing great music.

Werner Roodt It's unfortunate though. They had such a unique sound and I honestly believe the decision to go "commercial" is what ruined the band and caused Brian and Cory to leave.

Cory And Brian Are Still In The Band At Heart :)
I got to help ASD with their equipment when they came and did a show in Ogden, Utah a month ago. The time I spent with them were some of the best times of my life. They were all super nice and they treated me like I was one of them. I even got invited on their tour bus after the show to do shots. We still keep in contact with each other since. Thank you guys for showing me a good time.

That's too bad. I think Brian and Cory were - along with Michael - the most stand-out members of ASD. Here's hoping the band can ascend to the highs set with the Wires album, although I doubt that'll happen.

Well said. I totally agree. Identity On Fire feels so much more refined. They sound tight as hell. It's an album I absolutely love to play from start to finish - it flows and keeps the pace nicely.

No matter how much I listen to this song, every time I hear the first 30 or so seconds, it's always mindblowing with the combination of the different vocals. Definitely my favorite song from A Skylit Drive, followed by "Love The Way You Lie" then "This Isn't The End" rounding out the top 3.
