They are similar to French Mondain
Are birds selected for such a large frame able to breed on their own? Are they able to incubate their eggs without stomping them? If that is a Modena, (not sure) 60 years ago, when I was a pigeon fancier, they were half that size! lol
This is a Texan pigeon. Yes, they spend, they don't trample the young and the eggs.
They’re actually good breeders. I have a few pairs. They also fly relatively well. I have a cage about 8 feet tall and they fly to the top easily.
