You can get my updated CCNA 200-301 course for $9.99 here (but this price expires in a few days): bit.ly/ccna9udemy - this is all you need as it includes labs. Additional Q&A plus tips: - NOTE: I originally wanted to say a lot more in this video, but removed the content because I didn't want to get into trouble with Cisco. Sorry if I didn't answer some of the questions you would really like to know about. 😔 I see lot of other people are now posting videos which I think may break the NDA, but if you cannot find the answer here, have a look at some of the other videos online. - Question: How many questions in the exam? Answer: Over 100. You get about 1 minute per question, so use your time wisely. - Question: I already have a CCNA. Should I take the new exam? Answer: No, I would recommend going for your CCNP. The CCNP covers similar content (Wireless / automation etc), but in more depth. Rather move forward in your certs. - Question: Do I need to know how to write Python scripts for the CCNA exam: Answer: No. Don't spend time learning Python for CCNA. Learn it for the DevNet Associate exam if you want to take that exam. - Question: Do I need to know how to write Ansible scripts (or Puppet & Chef configuration) for the CCNA exam: Answer: No. Don't spend time learning Ansible scripting for CCNA. Learn it for the DevNet Associate exam if you want to take that exam. - Question: Can I use the old books to study for the new exam. Answer: There is a lot of overlap of topics - so a lot of the old content is still relevant. Wendell did a nice comparison here: blog.certskills.com/cert2019-05/ and blog.certskills.com/how-to-use-my-ccna-200-301-books-if-you-transitioned-from-the-200-125-books/ - Tip: Write down your subnetting tables or any other important information before you click start. You will have time to do things before you actually start the exam. - Tip: Arrive at least 15 minutes early at the test centre. - Tip: Don't stress if you cannot answer one question. Just do your best. The 200-301 exam is extremely broad. I’m understanding the topics and concepts but memorizing soo much information is difficult for me. I’ve had a look at the CCNP tracks and the way it’s laid out with the core exam and then another specialized exam makes it alot easier. You still have to study for it but the structure of the CCNP tracks makes learning easier.

How did it go?
@@bibiguluspanova3229 i ended up getting 650 out of 1000. 825 score is passing...102 questions. It was a difficult test for sure. Im currently taking several college courses while attempting this certification which made it a harder for me i think. Even though i didnt pass i learned alot and i will continue to look forward :) thank you for your interest

Excellent video. Thanks a lot for taking the time to provide the latest CCNA exam information. What is the model and size of your monitor?
Thank you. Monitor is a Apple Thunderbolt Display: 27-inch
Wow i enjoyed the trip. As a newbies in this field, I gain impetus to write the exam, by watching this classic video. thank you, David
Just want to know if you will add some new information to your tutorial at Udemy
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, I am updating the content.
Thank you Mr. Bombal ... Great tips!
I trully believe that in this today Networking World about Automation and Networking Programmability, having a real SOLID BASE in programming languages for Networking is a MUST/RECOMMENDED AND NECESSARY SKILLS like ever before ... I'll look forward about this in my career in parallel with my Cisco certification career ... The Cisco DevNet certification track is a great path to follow and achieve a great level ...
Thank's for your contribution on our community great Bombal!
I WISH YOU ALL THE VERY BEST MR. GREAT BOMBAL!
Thank You!
Thank you for the very kind words Wagner!
I have done the network engineering program plus I have the ccna 301 books to update myself
I am so grateful I managed to gain the CCNA before it changed. I am definitely going to study the new topics though.
They are also in the CCNP. So, if you study for the ENCOR exam, you will cover the topics - but in more depth :) I would just study for that.
David Bombal fantastic advice! I look forward to it! It feels weird not learning at the moment
@@jacobsmith1173 Don't get out the habit of studying. It's a life changing habit - especially in this industry.
Looking forward to see more videos on the new CCNA exam
Lots more coming soon :)
Congrats again!!! Looking Forward to your next Course!
Thank you Wallace
David, congrats on passing those exams!
I was wondering if you are planning to make a video about your experience for the cisco devnet exam. Considering there is no official guide for the cisco devnet- associate, it would be very helpful to share your tips towards the devnet exam.
Cheers,
Thank you for sharing your experince David. i will take notes
Thanks David I passed the CCNA in January I did not want to go through this new process right now ... especially since I had the CCENT and was extremely nervous
Congratulations. Better to have passed so that you can concentrate on CCNP or other certs.
Can I pass it by self study or should I participate on paid course? Appreciate your advice . Fahad.
@@fahada783 self study is very possible. Buy the right books and udemy video course by David and read reddit forums for more advice. You can do it!
@@kkj361 do recommend ccna 200-301 .thanks in advance
@@kkj361 the books are too long how do manage to finish it should I read it all please need your support.
Use flash cards to practise
Thanks Uncle David, tomorrow exam 😊
