could indicate a dead cell, or multiple dead cells. what type of batt bank. shortening the run is a great quick fix, as opposed to increasing the gauge wire
It was 1/0 cable.... not large enough for the original run but proper size for the shorter run. Will definitely check the battery cells also. 6 ea 200 Amp hr lead acid deep cycle battery
