Others it may stay with the body for a bit. (normally for plot convenience reasons). And in some anyone can just take the ring, while in others, you have to specifically be chosen. So your anger is valid, as in most universes this shouldn’t work. But this is hardly the first time different universes have used the lantern ring rules differently. I think they should’ve had it that the ring sought out a new host and it just deemed king shark to be the best candidate since there are so few people actually left in Metropolis who would have the willpower to use it. Like the ring would recognize under any other circumstance a villain would be a terrible choice, but desperate times call for desperate measures

I’m assuming brainiac tweaked their chemistry , between green lanterns ring, to even their powers , but people think their clones so I don’t know , the game is what it is . I find it fun cause the characters chemistry makes it way more fun , brainiac in the game has more than one timeline where he beats different versions of the JL. I'm pretty sure the ring is a fake/forgery made by Brainiac. Since if it was the real one then it would've flown off as soon as Green Lantern died. Also the regular power ring doesn't make you go ballistic like King Shark was about to (to my knowledge at least). Plus there are plenty of hints that the justice league in this game are just a bunch of clones made by Brainiac. Like superman being immune to green kryptonite for some reason, flash not losing his finger when it was cut off earlier, yellow kryptonite made from Batman's body works on evil superman for some reason, the fact they have the balls to pull something like Arkham Batman dying in this game. All of it screams either clone or PR suicide and I don't think PR suicide is what they're going for. And if they are evil clones then I'm pretty sure evil Green Lantern wouldn't be able to use the normal power ring so Brainiac would have to make a substitute which is what King Shark used. If I'm wrong in my assumption and he didn't make a fake power ring for the clone then yeah 100% justified on marching over to whoever greenlit this and burying them alive with all the comics and start a bonfire.
