I was NOT ready for that ending. I thought this was gonna be a lot closer to "Farming Life In Another World" (which btw is an anime on HiDive, and I only mention it because I've watched the whole season twice in the 4 months I've been unemployed.) than it was. That's a good thing tho the whole bit about the wives is a bit overboard imo
They cut down the content of Farming Life In Another World; in the manga and LN he had already married a couple people by the time the story reaches where S1 of the anime ended. It's like they were intentionally cutting out the plural marriage aspect of the story, and I'm not sure why - China has been doing that with a lot of their donghua lately, and it's really irritating. Matter of fact, there was a HUGE fan backlash when they changed Xiao Yan's (the MC's) relationship to one of the other characters (Medusa) because not only are they supposed to get married, but their offspring are a huge part of the story later, yet the show just made it like they're just friends or something. Basically, because of Chinese censors, they've completely altered the story to the point that nobody knows what to expect; the dude is supposed to end up with something like 6 or 7 wives in both the LN and the Manhua (Chinese manga), but the Donghua (Chinese anime) just said "screw you guys, I'll do what I want!" (in Eric Cartman's voice). If this manga ever gets an anime, hopefully they don't do it dirty like Farming Life In Another World or the Donghua Battle Through The Heavens/Fights Break Sphere.

WOW! It's a harem anime, but there's a legitimate reason for the harem and it's not just because women are crazy for him. It's not a hentai or ecchi (at least not blatantly) but the MC still marries AND he became a breeder within a timely fashion and without getting ridiculously bashful or shy about things. It's a farming story, but it's not weird or creepy about it like some farming stories/shows. The pacing of the story is also quite quick; things move along consistently and plot development is rapid, but it doesn't feel like major or important aspects are being left out or ignored, and thus far there haven't been any points that have dragged out any longer than necessary. So far it's a good story and I look forward to more of it!

This is exactly what would happen to a kingdom or country that lost its male fighting force. Even in these days, we have seen such things. This kind of thing happened quite often. Women would even end up becoming loyal wives to the men who killed their husbands and son's and may have sold off their daughters. This is called self-preservation. In this situation, yes he's a good and powerful man, but he can help them save their people. So the harem makes sense with the state of the world and what is going on. Unlike many other manga and anime where such a situation doesn't.
The channel watermark is very annoying (it often obscures too much of the manga panel - it should either be moved to a less prominent spot or faded so it's not so distracting), so that's a big negative. Also, what's with zooming in on panels that don't show anything (like at 22:00 )? That's a huge negative. On the other hand, the general quality of the graphics were good and the narration was enjoyable, so those are positives. Overall though, I couldn't really enjoy the video (could only watch about 1/4 of it before I had to give up) due to the negatives, so no thumbs up or subscription.
