Believe it or not, but there is actually a true story that is kind of the gender flipped version of this story. I think that the guy was an American expat who was a recent college graduate that kind of did not know what to do with his life, and he got robbed, his friends had abandoned him, and he was essentially forced to be homeless and he lived under a bush. One day, a beautiful Dutch girl met him, she was loaded with money, then they went from being acquaintances to friends, then to lovers, then she helped him get a home, and now they are married with a few kids. They also have an autobiographical book on it as well, and they also have had a few interviews on the story as well. The name of the book is "How to Fall in Love With a Man Who Lives in a Bush".

Our Mc, while being an overall good person, it too much of a busybody. He worries about every single tiny thing.
