Worrying about someone's health in a sport that is known to have a high prevalence of eating disorders is not the same as body shaming. No one here is making fun of her for being skinny. They're just worried about her health. Annnd the reason this issue is still so prevalent in the sport is because we're not allowed to talk about it, because it's apparently "body shaming"...
It depends. If the judges are harsher on all competitors than it doesn’t change the order it’s fine. My guess is overall for most competitors it was harsher with leap evaluations
Please send her to a nutritionist! This poor gal is going to lose her health and suffer serious injuries if she doesn't learn how to properly fuel her body for the training she is doing.
Exactly. There's thin, which is what the rhythmic gymnasts look like and there's scary unhealthy looking skinny, like this poor girl looks. She looks like she has taken it too far and needs some help.
Before you assume she's taking poor care of herself, you may want to know her story. So stop being prejudiced. Maybe she has that type of a body that she can eat everything but gain weight very slowly. Ever think about that? I think she has the experience to know what is good for her.
@@FloortjuhG she has not... take a quick look at some older movies and you will see that she always have had a small built but that she also looked so much healthier in the past!! Beside that, I am a big fan of naomi and hope she will take care of herselve.
@@crinolientje you’re right what happend within the dutch gymnastics world. But why she is looking like this right now, we don’t know, it’s guessing. And people mean well with their concern. But from the gymnast’s side it’s not always fun (sorry looking for the right word for it) to hear/read about how thin you are. (Btw, no hard feelings over here :) and Naomi did so great on floor!)
I am actually excited for her road to the next Olympics. I feel like she has so much more potential just like Skye Blakely

@@ingmar6666 exactly... and she looked healthier, still skinny, in the past... only recently people are worried, thats not without any reason

Such a beautiful routine and y’all are only focused on her body time. She’s a world level athlete not a model
because throughout the history of gymnastics there were plenty of athletes struggling with eating disorders and Naomi is looking alarmingly thin
