It was a very rough town 30 years ago and the people there are still somewhat poor financially - but it's not a bad place these days, and the landscape around it is very nice. Eastern europeans seem to like it..
Your drone footage over Yeovil was truly fascinating. The calm shots were so pleasant to watch and it was clear that you had a great eye for capturing the city's beauty from above. Your ability to capture the city's architecture and natural landscapes provided an unparalleled view that couldn't be seen from the ground. Overall, it was a fantastic aerial tour of Yeovil, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Did you ask for any permissions when filming with your drone over Yeovil, or did you simply fly the drone below 250g? I am asking because I want to fly over Yeovil myself.
This was captured over 6 years ago the CAA drone laws have changed a lot since then ! The boundary for flying near airports use to be the FENCE ! back then , Now the rules are 2km from the runway so its a whole new ball game, You can fly in Yeovil but you need to contact the control tower and advise of your flight & get permission to fly in Yeovil airspace.
