Nazareth Village - The Olive Press and Gethsemane

Olives played an important role in the time of the New Testament. On the site of "Nazareth Village", an olive garden right next outside the village where Jesus had grown up, the replica of an ancient olive press has been built. Many parallels exist to the life and death of Jesus Christ.

The oil press was great. The best part…the social history that accompanied the video. Once again, the tour guide was great. I love how he balances different Christian beliefs…while going slow enough for his words to be translated. Thank you for the video.
