Would the H2 and O2 inside the initial balloon have to be in the same amount of moles for the Law of Effusion to hold? Are we tacitly agreeing that since the balloon has constant pressure, volume, and temperature, the moles of the two gases have to be the same (by the ideal gas law equation)?
