Quick correction. The Astro team reached out to clarify they didn’t change their announcement date due to the PlanetScale news. It was just a coincidence. Sorry for the misinterpretation!
Hi! Nice work. I need a db for an astro app whose scope will be limited to a couple of cites. So I don't need replicas. My question is: can astrodb/libsql be used embedded, having a non-managed service for my db?
It sounds interesting as usually you don’t want to have a full fledged sql database for things like blog comments. Unfortunately usually Astro is not the most stable right after release of a new main feature. I would wait first a month before doing a video about Astro db. The concept of auto seeding is nice. I wonder how the query system works. Also how easy is it to add remove columns.
Please teach how to make blog comment and storing user reaction with db. And how to make tutorial section in a website? kinda like "js tutorials" and it has bunch of tutorials stuff like that I did blog part it is working but I don't know how exactly make tutorials(connected blog) in the website.
Love this! I think it's a great idea. I actually do a lot of this already in the full course using Xata as the DB. I definitely want to do something hands on!

Would love to see a video testing it in an astro project.
I think I'm going to have to!
Same herr😊
I am VERY excited for Astro DB; I plan on messing with it in a small project just to get that experience.
Yeahhh! Can't wait to see what you think
Cannot wait to start playing with Astro DB!
I will be testing this out!! Can't wait for your video of it working.
Yeahhh! Let me know what you think!
This incredible, it's exactly what I needed!
Would love to see a video of you doing a demo project to try it out.
This is awesome. I'm at the part of the Astro course were we going to use Xata. Think I might try AstroDB instead of that
Wow, that's HUGE!. I would love to see a hands on tutorial how you for instance implement a contact form with Astro DB.
That's a great example. Definitely looking to do something like that!
pretty exciting what they're doing in the Astro ecosystem 👏
So exciting right? Long live AStro!! haah
Please test this out!

Is it suitable for high-traffic and e-commerce?
Wow. Will need to have a look at that. Hope to pick-up your course but need to wait atm for finances (lack of job)
