I started making earrings a few mounts with clay but I got bored of making just earrings and I’d give earrings to my friends and I wanted to give them something so asked my aunt what I should make and she said “maybe some bowls, trinket trays I saw some at a shop but there were ridiculously expensive, I was thinking of making them myself for my new apartment!” I made her a whole set and she’s so happy

Acrylic paint would work just fine! Not sure about the Amsterdam vanish though as I haven't used it before, if its similar to the one I used - I'm sure it'll work fine!

Wait so do you put the Vaseline on the mold before you put the clay, or when you’re getting the clay off the mold?

For wet sanding would I wet just the sand paper or both the paper and clay ??
@@pamprin454 you can wet either the sandpaper or the piece or you can wet both, it won’t really matter. it all comes down to personal preference

just a helpful tip: air dry clay tend to shrink when drying so that's why you might see holes after

They could just be on ur desk and hold paper clips or small erasers!
or for your keys! you could also put candles in it
I’ve seen others line their bowls or whatever they are using with cling wrap or something to make it easy to pop off. Hope that helps!
