Hey my love I haven’t moved out from the place yet but if you download the app Homii you will find vacant rooms , the place I’m currently renting is R4300 , so if you like you can just come straight to Homii and tell them your budget they will find something for you according to your budget ..they are rooms less than R4500 here like R3200 so do come and find out more sthandwa Sami
Getting a proper place in Durban is a hursle, from high rentals to areas that are not really proper, or areas that are not safe. But so far Morningside, Musgrave, Bulwer are my favorites. Am currently in Morningside. 1,5 bedroom are an option, cheaper than 2 bedroom but give you 2 bedroom feel.

Mine is R6000 water included, excluding electricity, its by Florida Road. The cheaper areas are essenwood, Morningside. MUSGRAVE AND Bulwer are expensive, surprisingly Morningside is also a bit expensive. While Morningside, windemere, essenwood are in prime positions with walking access to lots of restaurants(Florida road and Cowey road), parks, beach, malls, schools
The 1,5 have 1 bedroom and enclosed balcony which can be used a room that fit 3qouter bed
