I completely agree with tip number one. I learnt English at an institution four years ago, and I learnt harder and was willing and happy to learn about more new expressions as I knew I would have lessons in the coming days. I really had such an exhilarating time there, looking forward to every lesson. Unfortunately it went bankrupt two years ago, right now I've been learning on my own, often feeling a bit unsatisfied though, kind of lost the excitement and a bit struggled.
I used to read English books and newspaper almost every day. I have stopped reading for 15 years. It toke me six months to get acquainted again. Thank you for your lesson Bob. So happy to see you well ❤❤❤

I don ' t know if I meet your taste but I owe my knowledge of french to George Brassens and my knowledge of english to the Beatles! Unfortunately all tv movies were dubbed in Italian and foreign press cost a fortune. Luckily I had a good public library to borrow books. Reading books is very helpful though I'm reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire now. I have already red it in my native language so now it's a way better to understand and remember dialogues and words I don't know.
I think the easiest way to learn a foreign language is to be in the language surroundings (if you are already an adult) and also to use Grammarly AI to improve your skills.
English is my target language, and I watch many English videos that interest me. However, I find British accents too strange, so I can't bring myself to watch videos with British English.
