I want to say thank you for making this song. It made me cry, because it really speaks to me as an abuse survivor with PTSD. I've been struggling for years now to take back my life and not live in fear anymore. I still am struggling with it. I just want you guys to know that this is going to be going on my playlist for when I have a panic attack, because it's comforting and reminds me to not give up. I'm going to keep fighting back the bad memories and the trauma, and take my life back. I've come so far, and I'm not going to let my abuser win after all these years.
Congrats my friend. Know that crisis hotlines are here for you if you need it too. Also you have many helps and if you know people that are still abusedd by your abuserr please report your abuserr to police, to social services... maybe that you dont want to talk about it and it's totaly normal please take care of you. Just overcame a toxic Relationship that drove me into deep depression and an Eatingdisorder, shortly after my Cancer returned, so wasnt really great last 6 month, but i´m slowly taking steps into a brigther Future ! This Song made me really emotional because it just embodies what i feel perfectly.

This song hits deep. I had a toxic relationship. I've never had a toxic romantic relationship but a well I should say multiple toxic friends back in middle school. I regret doing everything they told me to do. I regret telling them how I saw signs of depression (I should have gone to my guy friend N) I only had two nontoxic friends in middle school. They (the girls) told me to kick out my guy friend Isa and tell him he can't hang out with us because he's too annoying and if I didn't they'd kick me out. In hindsight I should've said no and left but I didn't and I did what they said. I was scared my guy friend N would stay with them. When I kicked him out we had a fall out. What I didn't know is they made fun of me behind my back. Anyways once I found out I left and Isa and I became friends again shortly after N followed suit. This all happened within one school year (not the confiding my feelings that happened in 6th grade everything else happened in 8th grade) I'm sort of glad we moved after 8th grade because I don't know what I would do to myself if I had to go to high school with those girls (most likely I might have fallen back to SH or worse ending my life). So yeah this song really does hit home. Now I try to help those with toxic relationships because even though it was only a toxic friendship it was still a toxic relationship. the only difference between the two is one is being romantically involved and the other is not.
