      This was not my specific problem. I was just sharing a common HIGH Mileage issue that sometimes occurs in these vehicles… I did swap it out four times for the record, and again, wasn’t my problem. Thanks so much for wondering and commenting!! Enjoy your day!!

    In my case, the main relay have some kind of bad contact, the green key light flash and the car turn off, if you touch or bump the main relay, the key light flash again and the car turn on again.
    Thanks for the hint.

    Might be the immobilizer, check with the ignition open if the green key light on the dash stops flashing or it stays flashing. Flashing on won't turn on the car. Should flash a couple of times then stop. Usually if this is the case, means immobilizer is not reading your key.

    Did you ever find the solution to the problem? My 2003 Honda Pilot exhibits the very same symptom-everything but the motor comes on and the green key flashes when I turn it off.

      Three so called “experts,” deemed it jumped timing, and the engine was garbage…Try finding someone who’s an expert in these types of vehicles, otherwise, a tiny issue, can get unnecessary parts thrown into it, depleting your wallet… Mine died in the middle of the road, and snapped the belts in return. Probably a bad camshaft, realistically, causing one component in the engine to turn, while the other doesn’t and hence the jump in timing… Good Luck and let us know, if YOU DO figure out your issue… Take care for now, Bob!! 👋 🍀 🚘 😊

    that engine turns over like it has lost compression...timing is off

    Where is that part located in the pilot?

    • @GMoneySaver
      @GMoneySaver  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When sitting in the drivers seat, under the steering wheel area, under the trim under there, in the “dark” area, to the left, where you need to shine a light and kind of lay upside down in an awkward position to find, with the seat pushed back all the way, the driver door open, and look above the brake pedal towards the driver door direction… It slides up to take off. Best of Luck! Thanks for watching!!

    Might still be a bad relay- the relays themselves could be bad and you can’t just see that

      @@GMoneySaver OK but do you find the problem? Because I have the same situation with my friend pilot. Same year

    • @GMoneySaver
      @GMoneySaver  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joelcorrea98 Timing belt jumped time, supposedly, so I sold the car to someone who said they were willing to replace the Engine… Made no sense, because my other one, had 330,000 miles on it, prior to its first ever timing belt change out… I honestly think a thief finagled with something that caused the fluke, but I couldn’t prove it… It passed all of the tests and timing was set to standards…I know a ton of information regarding these models, yet counted my losses and moved on in the long run… I wish you the best!! If it’s anything bad regarding timing, it’s an engine loss… Take care!!
