BoM weather pattern for Sydney, Nov 28, 2018

The Bureau of Meteorology issued this char to show the low-pressure system currently bringing heavy rain to parts of New South Wales, particularly in the Sydney metropolitan area. The rain has already triggered multiple rescues, caused localised flash flooding, led to dangerous road conditions, triggered a riverine flood warning and seen significant transport disruptions.
Current forecasts indicate periods of intense rain will continue in major population centers throughout the day and into this evening. Damaging winds and hazardous surf conditions are also likely across broad areas.
Multiple warnings are both now in effect including: Severe Weather; Severe Thunderstorm; Flood; and a Road Weather Alert for areas of New South Wales.
