I couldn’t wait to see the reaction to what he thought of Burt’s song! So good!🤣 I’ve seen this video 3 or 4 times and definitely laughed the hardest watching with you guys! 🤣🤣
I freaking love Shane’s sense of humor, right up my alley. Him losing the SNL gig was without a doubt a blessing in disguise. 👍 Edit- The pod Shane did with KFC was so hilarious, start to finish laughs! You guys gotta check out some clips from the JRE with Shane, Mark Normand, and Ari. Ari tries to go Bud Light for Bud Light with Shane, and by the end Ari is puking in a cooler, all while the other guys crack jokes. 🤣
Yep, the protect our parks series is the most enjoyment ive gotten out of any JRE episode in a long time. More funny people in the room = more jokes per hour
There's a few eps with Rogan, Ari, Shane, and Normand and they are all bangers! THE BUSHMEAT BOYS! Also, if you haven't, check out the KILL TONY podcast episode that they did right after that. It's literally the same day (they talk about having to go there later on Rogan) and it's just Shane and Normand (Ari was supposed to be there too) and they're like, "Yeah, Ari's dead. RIP" And Shane continues to rip through another 15 Bud Lights LOL
That Bart clip of him playing the guitar is the best the build up then shane saying what we all thinking it caught me off guard while watching the podcast😂
6:55 Here in Australia I worked for almost 20 years for corporate lawyers. One of them told me that a common thing that young lawyers in Australia would do to avoid paying back their student loan, was to immediately set up a company after they graduate and then their company pays them for the legal work their "company" does. Their company never pays them more than the amount where their pay threshold means that they have to then start paying back their student debt. All the other money their company makes goes towards their rent (home office), car (company car), lots of groceries which qualify as a business expense, utilities, etc, and if they start making too much money to plausibly continue this scheme, they hire staff such as a spouse. LOL They just perpetually remained under the pay threshold that is required to pay back their loan, even though realistically they were making WAY more than that. I don't know if this is still a thing, but it was just one of the rorts that this lawyer told me lawyers got up to here in Australia. Another thing which this law firm that I worked for did, was to have two companies set up that they would operate and one company would "hire" the services of the other company, as some sort of tax minimisation scheme. Dodgy as can be and yet being lawyers it was all super carefully arranged and operated to be barely legal.
That first paragraph is half the benefit of starting a business. If the income or expense can be written off, you gucci... The only issue with under paying yourself is limiting the amount you could potentially make. Not sure how AU school loans work but people do the same thing to stay in certain tax brackets too. As long as its "technically" legal, its legal 🤷♂️ Just keep a record for when the tax man comes lol
Shane’s accurate recounting of the spectrum bros on the dating show is genuinely impressive. I’ve never been happier someone wasn’t a big weed guy, that memory is powerful.
The “random” guy on stage is Jeremiah Watkins, he’s a stand-up and he does a show called Stand Up On The Spot where comedians go up with no written material and do stand up based on crowd suggestions. He recently started recording it for TH-cam and a ton of the big names in comedy have done it.
Jeremiah Watkins really shined on stage at Kill Tony, his ability to play the sax, play characters and roast the crap out of the contestants is unmatched.
The best part about Shane is that everyone thats from the same area here in pa acts just like this😂 he grew up only an hour away from me out past Lancaster so it’s crazy to see him blowing up like this is the comedy scene

I know this video is a bit old but I have to mention something because student loan payments start here in the next couple months. Not paying your student loans absolutely hurts your credit score. I hope people see this comment because this can seriously hurt you especially with rising interest rates and the difficulty of obtaining home loans.
8:51 yeah I don't know if they were trying to wind him up there or something, but he never wrote that song. Not sure who sung it originally, but it's an old song jug bands regularly perform, called 'Wagon Wheel.'
