Mark °0 to °30 on the flywheel using a degree wheel so you can check ignition timing with a timing light. It should be ° 15 advance it to °25 and it will come alive. A 394 style muffler without the baffles with a 1" outlet will let it breathe.
My question is, will it last or perform as well as an actual husqvarna? I’m just a firewood guy, heat 2 homes. I’m curious just for the money aspect. Is it worth buying a clone?
In general. They will have a few minor issues. Nothing a handy person cannot fix. The 395 is relatively new, it’s a few years old from them. They seem to have been very reliable there is one channel that used one a lot for cutting down trees for lumber and he is a saw repair shop. He had a very early one, like first batch. The piston was too small and made some noise. He let them know and they have corrected problem.
Wagners Chainsaws sells them. That’s where I bought this one. Eventually I will build and modify the kits once my new shop is built. Right now I’m not taking on any projects. I have to finish up the stuff I have lined up already. I know a guy that will sell you a modified g395 he has a TH-cam channel. Jon Bob Millwright look him up. I subscribe to him if you can find him on my list.
helpful chainsaw disassembly and assembly video. Lots of repair videos on your channel, Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.

Why are you taking the saw apart?
To make sure it was put together right and Loctite the cylinder bolts with blue Loctite. It says it in the title lol. 🤦🏼♂️
Simple.... to make content and to assure OC. Because if you're not aware OC isn't the greatest or to be trusted outta China.
So, do you sell these, and do you port them?
