Weymouth is another awesome place to explore and visit this area is filled with beautiful scenery and the is very nice with of course places to eat, drink and shop thanks again for another awesome walk thank you.🇬🇧👋👋🇬🇧
We love Weymouth. We've been once and stayed at a campsite in the village of Nottington. We also went to the Abbotsbury Swannery and the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. I'm really looking forward to going back again. There's so much to do in and around Weymouth.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Being stuck living in New Zealand at the moment there is nothing better than seeing my beautiful home town to lift my spirits. As a child I spent a day on the set of the film Far From the Madding Crowd, it was an amazing experience. Dorset is just a magical county 💕
Its was alot of fun especially when you are 7 years old. I was a few feet away from Terence Stamp riding his horse in the circus scene. I only spotted myself in the audience about 10 years ago 😂
I lived here 30 years ago at Bowleaze Cove (east, in the distance to the left at the end of the video) nice to see this lovely town really hasn't changed a bit.
Looks lovely historical colourful plenty of pubs restaurants cafes etc.I’m not keen on fairground attractions on the beach but once again thank you for a excellent and informative video.
Since I was a child along with the donkeys and Punch and Judy there have always been little fair ground rides on the beach but I have to say the ones now are too much in your face 😟
This is amazing. I love watching other peoples videos of my home town. I'm just taking a break from editing my video on the Weymouth Bay Rib boat ride on went on today. I went on their other boat, not the one shown in your video. :-) A sub and a thumbs up from me.
Thanks for a great video of Weymouth I enjoyed the walk the old town The shops harbour the beach with the rides shops and everything else on the beach and seafront.thanks for your time filming I love the channel.hope you ok look after yourself keep safe enjoy the rest of your day ❣️🙏🦢🍺🍦
In my honest opinion I'd say Whitby is one of the best. I've visited both Whitby and Weymouth. Weymouth I visited years ago. There are 2 downsides in Weymouth. Back then the public toilets were not very clean. And then there's the closure of Brwers Quay. It was a quant little shopping area. Whitby is a bit like Weymouth with one side of the bridge is the harbour and the other side is the town, 199 steps. Whitby has a swing bridge, Weymouth the bridge goes up.
Thank you, I enjoyed this walk with you in the sunshine as I sat at home under black clouds and a wind that was getting stronger, looks like a storm is on its way
Just a small correction to your narative - it was the railway track that was taken up which used to go to the ferry, now gone of course and not a tramway.
Weymouth is nice but, like so many UK towns, the area around the train station is a bit rough, when it'd make the world of difference not having boarded up shops right where tourists and commuters first get off.
It looks a great place for a holiday it takes about two hours and 45 minutes by train I didn’t see any signs for the toilets and when you’re getting on a bit that’s the first place you look for
Beautiful place😍
Very
Weymouth rocks... It's our St Tropez.
I love this Channel because it has no annoying TH-camrs talking through it, the best travel videos, seeing everything in silence 😊
Thank you ❤️🙏
@@GimbalWalkTV it's such a shame Amsterdam market has been closed down

I use to work in Weymouth, in the Kebab shop . Brings back memories of them . I will enjoy this
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loved it, especially the harbour and old town! Thanks Neil.
My pleasure!
Weymouth looks gorgeous. Lots of historical interest and a great sea front and harbour. Great memories of coach trips to the area when I was a lad.
Loved this walk. I have not been to Weymouth. I definitely would like to go after seeing this.

@lisalisa758 l was born and livd here. The comment about Brewers Quay is spot on.
I so love Weymouth ... I nearly moved there to live .... is it too late I ask myself?

You were in Weymouth?! That’s near to where I live!
I’m still around the area filming as much as I can ❤️
It didn't have a Tramway at all! IT was a full Railway for Boat Trains.
Ahhh ok - my error!
have not been to weymouth for 40 years
