I watched a video last week where the man cleaned brass with ketchup. It turned out beautiful and much less harmful than brasso. I loved the basket with the decoupage and the birdcage. Everything was great actually. Thanks for sharing.

Even though, peach is a favorite color of mine and was one of my wedding colors (peach and teal). My opinion: the little dresser, first DIY. Looked better with the white paint and mod podge napkin and raw wood beads for drawer pulls. The basket with the floral napkin mod podge was beautiful. The brass candle sticks holder was a great find in my opinion. I went to thrift store before Christmas 2021, I racked up on brass. Pieces 50% off only$ 2 - 5.00. I got a box full of brass. Not a little box, and not little pieces of brass. The frame with pansies is so beautiful. All were beautiful.

I picked up 4 of those little iron skillets at a sale at our VFW on Sat. I saw another artist's video where she used a stamp on the background and an IOD clay mold in the middle. I might just keep mine black.
The napkin on the basket was simple, but such a great transformation. I love the bird with the egg, the pansy basket with the Bible verse and the nest pan. My favorite was the tea buckets. I love the antique labels and distressing.
All these projects were great! I bought the napkins you have and am going to try a basket. You are so talented with decoupage and painting techniques. The green frame paint job was perfection!
Love the bird cage. I was given one recently and it's huge! I really didn't know what to do with it. I love how you put in vintage dishes. The little pails were sweet. Love the idea of the tea inside. It would be a great gift.

I got a little confused, we’re you going for the chiffon color and then changed your mind to the green, and was that white wax you put over the green, and how long did you wait for the green to dry before you put the white on, really love the projects just want to get it right.
Hi Maggie, yes you're correct it was white wax applied over the green. The green paint was fully dry before brushing on the white wax. Chalkpaint dries quick so probably a couple hours for it to dry fully. Thank you for watching & for the great question ❤
Salt flour and vinegar, work much better, than brass, mix enough to make a thick paste, work wonderfully, I have a large brass table, living room coffee table. Brass did not clean it at all, after I Google a homemade brass cleaner, I then used, bar keepers brass cleaner and cleaned it well, then I buffed it with a polishing wheel, that I used for polishing my vehicle

Hey there, you can easily use gold Rub and Buff or Gilding wax on your candle holder....and it will be exquisite!
