Makes all the difference to a shot like that James. Next time, I'm going to take a little spay bottle filled with water so we get the water drops as well.. thank you for watching.
Wow, Joe those photos were something else. Personal favourite for me was the fern, but only just. One thing I can be sure of is the sheer effort you put into every photo, you can't capture that in a 20 minute film. Brilliant mate.
I have the same lens, but I bought it last year for use with my Oly EM1 ii, so I will get an even longer stand off of 300mm equivilant. I have tested it and the resolution on the M4/3 seems fine, so I am looking forward to getting more dragonfly photos this summer. The wild flower plant, by the way, is herb-robert, a hardy member of the geranium family. It was a dispensed medicine in the past, to alleviate a range of ailiments.
I am pleasantly surprised by this lens so far.. I used Google image ID to identify the plants after I got home . Although I did have an app on my phone at the time but forgot to use it 🙄
I use the nikon for video alot. Manual focus , but because I use 4k there is no image stability apart from what the lens gives you.. thank you for watching.
Interesting stuff great shots especially pink flower with different lighting 👍

Thank you, Simon. After seeing all the photos on a bigger screen , the fern at the end was my favourite, it took an age to do lol...

Me gusta mucho cuando grabas video con la Nikon y se ven todos los detalles con leves movimientos 😅😊

@@Wessexphotography no era una queja, me gustó mucho. Gracias:)
I genuinely thought lighting for photos didn't really do much for plants... Just wow when you were moving it around
Indeed, it does make a difference, and it's just a small soft light that I can wedge in anywhere.
Thank you for watching.
so much better without light
I had to look back on the video to see what I asked 😂.
