Was thinking about stroker kit, sequential, and widebody but probably keep it as is for another year. Car has a lot of potential and want to see what it can do on a lot of the other tracks this coming year.
Nice thing is a widebody can probably add some speed without compromising reliability to go run a bunch of events. Sequential, maybe 50-50. The stroker kit really seems to become more of a grenade. @@buccibur
I like the content, Nice mix of everything I like to see. Great driving out there. I hope to have my own Bimmer to compete in Bimmer Challenge/GTA one of these days.
@@buccibur Working on it. E92 M3 has always been my dream car. I'm on FB marketplace everyday looking for a decent salvage title to pick up. Till then Ill just keep putting laps down in the Tesla.
that thing likes to rotate! do they ever threaten to meatball you for the splitter pucks making too much contact with the track? it makes me wonder how much is too much...
The car was rotating a lot in that evening practice session due to track condition and tire fall off. If you watch my laps from Saturday and Sunday morning there is very little rotation. Never been meatballed for splitter contact but I definitely think it contacts too frequently. Need to run soft springs at this track so it’s kind of hard not to allow it.
Awesome driving! I noticed the GTA announcer said that you are running 245 square (Hoosier) tires - have you tried testing with 275 square (Hoosier) tires, any performance increase? Also what does the car weigh? 2600 lbs with you in it? I'm building my Honda S2000 racecar at my shop right now (@Walshmo Racing) and I'm aiming for around 300whp (N/A K24) with a target weight of 2500 lbs (with me in it) - my goal was to go for high 40s at BW, I think with that power to weight I should be able to do it. That being said I think I'm going to need a bit more power if I want to drop into the mid 40s like you are doing!
Correct, 245 square. Have not tried the 275 because I would need to go from a 9.5” wheel to an 11” and then modify the fenders. Weight is probably closer to 2540 with me and fuel for 2 laps. Your power to weight will be very similar to mine.
www.mcmaster.com/product/8586k79 This is the link for the air dam material. We just used a dozen or so small sections of aluminum right angle and adhered them to the splitter to support the air dam shape. Then just fasten the air dam to the right angle pieces. Hope that helps 🤙
How did you learn to be so on the limit? I do a ton of track driving and I feel like I’m going 8/9 out of 10. Maybe I fear totaling my car, maybe I fear injury or something but how did you push pasted that feeling? To the be the fastest you have to be on the edge like you but I can’t seem to get there.
Well the only way you can understand the limit is by exceeding it, unfortunately. I have crashed before, I have been off many times, and definitely had a few close calls! The more time you spend in the danger zone, the more comfortable you will be driving at the limit and the better your recognition of the limit will become. Keep getting in seat time but make sure that time is intentional and always try and drive toward the upper limit of your capabilities. A ton of seat time at 8/10’s doesn’t really help you when you’re 10/10’s. You are going to have to get uncomfortable and just do it in the safest manner you can!
Great advice. I just need to go harder. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ve been tracking an e90 m3. Maybe I should tier down and go slower? E36 or Miata to learn more car control at the limit?
Awesome work Bailey!
Great showing, really showed what you can do!
Nice video and channel, I enjoyed that. Sick driving too.
That's a jazzy livery you got there and the white wheels just make everything pop!👍
Nice driving man! Congrats! I just got E36 coupe and starting to build for hill climb and came across to your videos :))
Not too much Hill Climb in the states but would love to get in to that!
Nice mate, good to see an S54 up there 👏🏻
So sick man!
Car sounds amazing
Get in there Bailey 🤙
Driving style is smooth but assertive, I like it.
That’s the goal! 🤙
Good Job Man!
epic driving! also when i grow up i want a 36 just like yours... hahaha
Love the car and the series. What's in the plan for 2024? Widebody time? Turbo? Both? :D

Proceeds to beat everyone in the event lol. Keep the vlogs coming!
😅 definitely wasn’t expecting those results.

Does a shop work on your car/did the swap/etc? I was hoping to see some videos of the work done on this car.
Racecars Unlimited does all of my work. They do a lot of swaps. You can find them on IG.

Would u ever consider doing a foot cam as well?
I will work on getting a foot cam in the car 🤙
Whats the engine setup? Whats all done to the S54? Sounds absolutely wicked. Any special exhaust bits?
Only engine modifications are Haimus airbox, SS stepped header, and custom 3.5” titanium exhaust.
Hey man - I‘ve got the same splitter arriving in a few weeks - can you tell me what you used for air dam material and how you mounted it? Thanks man

@@buccibur awesome thanks! Did you use epoxy for the right angle bits to the splitter?
@@matthewehrlich5195 no we just used some 3M double sided body tape. No need to go crazy.

@@hooptie157 it’s much easier and safer to find the limits of a low power car. You can learn a lot from slow cars that is applicable to all platforms.
What spring rates are you running?
This was my old setup which was 700f/850r
3.91 diff?
3.73
But just dont forget in 2018 I beat you one time in a dragrace ... and then.... never won again...LMAO
Lollll I think that was more like 2008 🤣 I’ll blame it on my tires though. Rematch whenever you want!
