Maybe soon here in the U.S. Mark from The Bremen channel is a historian, his videos are very entertaining and educational. I've enjoyed his channel for many years now. I may have to check out that Vertigo pipe lighter, whenever I go out on a hike, 7000 ft. + of Elevation I notice my lighters stop working. I always keep matches at hand as a backup. I am surprised you haven't tried any Torben Dansk blends. The Burley is to die for. Also side note, Mysore Virginia is made in India and is one of the sweetest naturally honey flavored Virginias. It is usually used for blending because it is so sweet. And Pesse Canoe (named after an ancient wooden canoe found in an archeological site) the Oriental flake without Latakia is the best! I smoke it all the time and that brand (Pesse Canoe) is the only 100% Made in Turkish tobaccos in the world! The flakes are 2 or 3 mm thick. And you need to rub them out into powder and break up some chunks. Packing you should make a layer cake of powder / chunk / powder chunk, powder, etc in the bowel. The Pesse Canoe tins are not sealed but if the humidity is over 50 % in your house you don't need to jar it. It is only available in Asia Spain and Germany. The rest of the world can't buy it. It is very rare and special. Enjoy! PS. Read the English on the back of the tin. It's full of typos and bad grammar haha.

Excellent selection of tobacco Nathan. Waiting for one of those new Turkish Pesse Canoe I also chose the 20% from Tabak Traeber in Germany. I enjoy the SG CH flake & Raiko in between. The SVH & St Bruno were once my favourite light aromatics before I started smoking those posh US blends😂 and of course the salty dogs. The rest I still need to try. Take care mate👍

Salty Dogs is up there in my top ten as is SVH and of course good old St Bruno flake, the others I haven’t yet tried and a good choice of lighter too. I’ve had mine for about 12 months now it’s now a copper and grey colour, well worn in.

@@TheVapingPiper yeh I’ve been getting bad headaches which have been driving me round the bend and sometimes forgetting things in mid sentence which has been getting pretty regular, I’ve seen my doctor this afternoon and it could be referral pain which is due to damaged bulging discs in my neck but she also wants me to have a head scan just to rule anything else out.
Some very nice tobaccos, im looking forward to your review on the HU Coming Home tin especially, i enjoy floral blends so i hope it turns out to be a nice smoke. Ive also not tried any chocolate blends but im interested to see how they compare with one another. Hope you enjoy them all Nathan

Just forgat about my last comment. Obviously you know about the GH and SG tobaccos. I was very much wondering to see that you ordered the S.V.H. by DTM. I have that one, too. It's made of very good virgias with a vanilla flavour rather on the not sweet side, but being present, eventhough it's considered a high aromatic. I like it very much from time to time. - Side note: Michael Apitz mentioned once not to cellar aromatics because they will turn out to be dead in aroma. I think that he was referring mostly on the back cavendish aromatics, but I'm not sure.
What last comment Stefan😀 love the SVH and reviewed it 2 weeks ago. Check the playlist. As for aging aromatics. No doubt best blends to benefit from aging are non aromatics, especially pure Virginia, VaPers, English & Burley’s, but even aromatics would not noticeably loose any of the added toppings over time if stored properly in air tight mason jars, the Virginia & Burley leaf even black cavendish would benefit to some degree, certainly they will not deteriorate. So aging tobacco is beneficial across the board to some degree.
Another delectation for us tobacco lovers Flanagan is a delightful blend from HU and also HIGHLY recommended in the United Passions series is Dockworker - don't overlook that one Nathan, its an awesome burley based blend. The 'Hommage to my Friends' series by HU also has some exquisite blends (which includes My Red Fox, yummy) - Old Fredders Broken Flake and Haddes Best Irish are especially nice. I must look out for those Pesse Canoe blends, esp. the 20 lat and the oriental which look particularly interesting. I enjoyed Mark's (Bremen Piper) recent presentation video on them.

Uncle. . let me tell ye a wee story. Since watching your channel a month or 2 ago and enjoying your reviews I got really excited to order from our German friends. . Registered my address and spent hours looking through scores of different leaf. . had nearly 2 kg of deliciousness in my basket for just under 200 quid. It was so, so inexpensive I couldn't believe it. Anyway. . shortly after my order went through I was delighted to receive an email from our German friends that they don't deliver to Northern Ireland. Some political bollox . . the order was cancelled for a refund. This video is gonna hurt. Haha. I did treat myself to 5 new blends this weekend . have a great day my pipe Uncle, Ronan
What a shame Ronan. But what puzzles me is that Ireland never parted from the EU block when Brexit took place. I don’t know which online tobacconist you tried to order, perhaps try Estervals pipe house in Germany as they ship to the UK I would assume they would ship to Ireland as well

Great video! I do have a question for you though. What do you think about taking a pipe tobacco that you like and putting it in a pasta press to make a tobacco cake? Do you think anything will be lost or gained by converting a ready rub into a cake?
Thanks. As for your question, there are some advantages pressing single leaf type from ribbon or ready rubbed into cakes mainly for aging purposes as they retain the sugars & oils better. As for blends the advantages are that the various tobacco leaf merge & mingle their flavours better than ribbon cut. That said I don’t have a clue on the right procedure to achieve the right consistency. I have an idea, perhaps you give it a go and if successful let me know the right procedure😊

@@TheVapingPiper Nathan. I hope you didn’t think that I was putting your lighter down. I was just surprised that when you were showing it off it was an exact duplicate of my Calibri. My Calibri I think cost about $60 so it’s more expensive. It probably does not work any better. I never did like the Pizio electric butane lighters because they always seem to fail within three months or less. Since I got that Calibri, I think my problem has been the purity of my butane and not that the electronics failed. I got myself some Raiko which I havent tried yet and some SVH which I was a bit disappointed with after trying a small bowl, but need to give it some more time I think. I got more of a creme brulee tin note which is not what I was expecting. Interested to hear your opinion on these two ☺️

Of course some I like more but dislike..No. maybe the reason is that I do my searches on every blend before I buy or it is recommended to me by seasoned pipe smokers that tried many blends before settling on any particular blend. Either way I enjoy them all & some I simply can’t do without like the Salty dogs for instance and many more.

Highly recommend John if you like VaPer blends. In my opinion it is one of the best VaPers
