- Yes, I'm aware of editing issues.
Aside from it showing a frame or two from the next view because the clips were so short, and one clip being really loud (At 0:52), it isn't terrible.
These are crash tests from JNCAP's TH-cam channel:
/ nasvaassess
Song: Boards of Canada - Carcan -
I think the reason a lot of these tip is because they are so incredibly narrow yet very tall at the same time, making them very prone to rolling.
It also comes to the speed and the energy that gets absorbed
Because some streets in japanese towns and cities are narrow.
0:40 the Hustler rolls like a toycar
Yeah
Ikr lol it is a toy car
Wow you are in the correct
1:30 look how resistant that one is. It refuses to flip.
Probably because its wider, and SUVs are designed to have a good stability
Imagine one of these in the IIHS' side impact test... bye bye doors
Truly Japanese cars have a high rollover factor due to the fact that they are narrow and tall!
I was waiting for one of them cars to resist but no way, all succumbed 😂
I knew the song was boards of Canada! Sounded just like them until I read the description and saw it was them! 😃
Good ear! I have another crash test compilation featuring a song from A Few Old Tunes.
I thought I heard not long ago that the Japanese government wanted to eventually phase out kei cars because of safety. I know there is a space problem with parking and driving in Japan. But I'm surprised they are still as popular as they are.
Idk if that's ever gonna happen. Kei cars are almost unique to only Japan. More like a trademark
Check out live cams from japan, 80% of the cars that passing through road are kei cars.
@@nickryan6787 Well, full size sedans represented the US and look now...
Daihatsu Wake: Where am i?
0:06 is a Nissan Serena

1:13 is a Honda N-One
1:42 is a Daihatsu Move
1:46 is a Nissan Elgrand

When the tyres grip a little too hard...
1:36 was a Daihatsu Mira Cocoa
More than half of these cars do *NOT* have side airbags.. only the larger and/or more expensive vehicles. Every new passenger car sold in Europe has side airbags… Japan needs to catch up with the rest of the world.
@@tsrn76 Cars from 2001 had side airbags.. Japan doesn't have them 3 years ago?
Imagine these on a emergency manometry
What happened to the original compilation?
This is always going to be a problem with Kei-Cars.
not just kei cars, but JDM cars in general. a large percentage of them have tall roofs but narrow bodies to comply with Japanese road regulations where vehicles built above a certain width will be imposed higher taxes. not to mention that they're all extremely light with tiny engines.
@@brandonczw thats what a kei car is lol
And they say America has top heavy cars.
Hey CarPro1993, can you do Euro Ncap Side Impact Rollover Compilation please?
I'd love to take you up on this (three years later) but it would take a long time to sift through the tests, unless you know which ones did rollover.
What is the song name?
Why isn't there side airbags
They're on the larger and expensive ones but the kei cars doesn't well, because they're cheap
0:07 was a Nissan Serena
0:19 was a Toyota Voxy/Toyota Noah/Toyota Esquire
1:14 was a Honda N/One
Km?
60KM
JNCAP tests at 55 Km/h.

Lost stars if rollover??
Kélber Utagori no.
it should since not everywhere is flat surface
I think the cars looks too skinny
kei cars are small
100th like
I don't think this test Fair. They need to test a side-impact with an actual vehicle that will show impact damage. right now it's just a solid object with a low center of gravity that doesn't have any impact damage.
The crash test rolling barrier is used to simulate a car that as tall as a sedan or mpv,if theyre using actual car it'll be hard finding which car is the most average size
Worst case scenario... Engineering always do that. So we have a higher chance of survive in real life.
@@alifrachmanz Just choose a car the same height in the front as the barrier thing.
1:31 No... NOOO! IM NOT GONNA FLIP! MUST... STAY... UPRIGHT... aw crap
0:41 just kill me already
These cars look sad.
When I always thought Japanese cars were safest...
