I remember a year ago when people would come on and complain about Bellirin's passing, and now they want him to start after coming back from injury. Then it was complaints about Xhaka's passing. This was all around a team win. Everyone stuck to their task. Clean sheets are great for confidence. Aubameyang was tired out there. I saw it in the 55th min when he couldn't bring a pass down right. Chambers and Guendozi were players of the match for me.

Robbie, the reason why '1-0 to the Arsenal' was celebrated was because back in those days we had a team where that result was expected and defending was our strength. It also highlighted that we were pretty boring team to watch. We dont want this team to be boring and this team certainly isnt good enough to nick a goal, then sit back and soak up pressure - (Maybe when we have Bellerin, Holding and Tierney back but I doubt it) DT is right, we need to be going for teams, the same way the early 00s teams did, like a shark smelling blood.

We needed to sacrifice the attack to have a decent defense. Arsenal need that balance and I'm hoping that comes when Holding, Laca, Tierney, and Bellerin get back.

Right now Arsenal need to strike an healthy balance of attack and defence. Arsenal at the moment is being too negative and it's stifling our offensive players. Against the bigger teams you cannot be too negative especially the way Arsenal defend, so our best form of defence is attack by feeding Aubamayang and other players plenty of chances to score goals.

Arsenal in last 20 years has always revolved around the midfield, thats how we used to transition from defence-through the middle with brave,intelligent and technical players like Vierra,Fabregas,Carzorla,Ramsey,Diaby,Wilshere,Arteta etc-I could go on-players who can all hold the ball and turn. Its always been the lynchpin position. Emery does not care about it. Thats why he let Ramsey go. And he doesn't care about possession and entertainment. We may get top 4 but apart from City and Liverpool-its a low standard compared to 10 years ago. This is not going to change under Emery. Do you care about entertainment? or happy with just getting top 4? Which we got for 20 years in a row, whilst being very entertaining...
I’m sure if emery had his way he would’ve most definitely kept ramsey, no doubt about it - contract negotiations are outside of his expertise. Midfielders not being able to hold on to the ball isn’t emery’s fault, when do players (besides xhaka) start getting called out for average performances ? They should take accountability as well, you know.

We can’t be playing Xhaka and Guendouzi, when those two are playing Guendo has to stay deep but when Torreria and Guendo play it gives Guendo a license to roam free and go forward, he can then link up with Ceballos and provide more creative plays.

In my opinion guendouzi is our best midfielder and will most likely be one of the first names on the team sheet, then there is xhaka who is likely to start lots because hes captain, this leaves torreira/ ceballos or even willock to start in the midfield 3. The only problem is that we know guendouzi/xhaka and torreira do not work together in a 3

This legit happens every year. We play average against a team like Man United and draw & everybody says we need to be better. We play the same way against a team is is below average & win and everyone says it was a solid performance. Then we play the same way against a top club, get embarrassed, and everyone will say we played terrible. From what I see, Emery is weeding out the players who play Wenger ball, Ozil is a player who plays Wenger ball, Wilshire was an out and out Wenger ball player, Ramsey was brought up as youth with Wenger ball, he's working to weed out the Wenger ball from Arsenal, so he can get in players that can play his brand of football, that is why at the moment it looks like we don't have an identity, as it's kinda mixed right now, once Tierney and Bellerin come in I feel we'll be able to see on what Emery looking to do!!
