I was a public safety / 911 dispatcher for 21 years, and although "The Call" had problems, (as most movies do when it comes to police/fire/ems dispatching, which is a lot of boring routine interspersed with moments of high stress) I have to admit that when Abigail Breslin called her from the trunk of a moving car on a cheap "pay as you go" cell phone, I had an emotional response that surprised me. This movie looks like it would be pretty good, at least as far as suspense goes.

This is a remake of the Danish movie ”The guilty”. A true masterpiece. Jake Gyllenhaal is the best at chosing the right movies. And another great abduction movie is ”The call” with Halle Berry, most exciting movie I’ve ever seen.
This looks like in the same vein as Buried (2010) and Phonebooth (2002). Both really thrilling movies.
