I sent you the Fireberry Hawthorn seeds. Hope they germinate! I still haven't tried germinating any of mine but I think they'd make great bonsai... Good luck 👍
Happy Thanksgiving, I’ve been admiring those pruners for a long time. I could never find out who makes them. Seems like you’re familiar with them. Can you provide info on where to purchase them. Thanks and enjoy your holiday
greenwood bonsai are local to me in the UK. Their studio/bonsai displays etc are exceptional and they are all friendly and real helpful, its well worth a visit if you live in the midlands. They have a well stocked store and a great selection of pots/tools etc, took the time to help me choose a pot for my tiger bark ficus that i also bought from there. It is real healthy and doing great. I will be going back in the new year to choose some pots for my lemon seedlings, ficus benjimina clump style and selection of jades! Nice to see some of their pruning sheers making it all the way to Canada!
I was picking up a pizza the other day and saw an interesting tree with seed pods. Google lens tells me it is a river tamarind. I'm trying to research the different types of tamarind now. Good work on your seedings. Very rewarding.
Sometimes when you cut fairly tough or thick twigs with your smaller bonsai scissors, I sometimes get worried if the scissors can handle it. I think the new scissors should help doing cuts on tougher twigs while still providing good precision :)
Awesome updates and hard work on the benches! Connor has two big led grow lights for sale - maybe he will give you ‘mate’s rates’ if you ask nicely? 🤷🏻 💵 They would cover the entire back of the plant room…
I collected lots of seeds this year, but I still have 160 pomegranate from last winter, I'm nervous to start any new trees till I rehome more of those LOL
Hello Nigel, I'm new to your channel and totally hooked! Can I leave young seedlings in a three-season sunroom attached to the house? I notice you move all your plants into the house.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY TH-cam BONSAI JUNKIES. Keep growing.
Back at ya Matt!

The green pruning sheers are a dream for the Emeralds. The Jerusalem Thorn seedlings bring to mind a tall Forest of Feathers-

Nigel have you thought of putting mirrors/reflective foil on the back of your plant room to reflect the light to the back of the plants?
Hi Nigel, thank you for your videos :) I love them. May I ask you which lights do you use for the plant room?
Thank you and cheers from Switzerland 👋🏻
Try some WP Mykos on the Jerusalem Thorn fibrous roots. That will help your roots to develop for you. Just a thought. Tom
