Hey Fonz! I love your colour contact reviews. However, in my opinion you are too close to the camera most of the time. It's nice to get a close look to see how they look on one eye, but it would be nicer if you also allowed us to see both eyes in a larger distance from the camera too, to get a better idea of how they look in a natural situation (not only with the picture at the end, which I find is a better distance). Amazonia and Cambuci, Fonz. They're the only two I would consider. If they had added some dimension to the Arara, and hatched the pupil hole a bit, I would really love that colour. But I'm not at all into the fish eye look. Thanks for the great review! ❤

Can you please do a comparison between the Aquarella Golden Ochre and the Aquarella Quarterly in Hazel?
Love your videos - your personality is the best and you’ve got a great look.
If I could make one request... show contacts - up close like you do.. but a minute further away (like standing talking to somebody distance) - you typically do this but standing distance helps with understanding how the contacts look for most people.
The final request is - can you show the contacts in the lens case.
I find this super helpful because I have hazel (and not dark brown/black irises) so this helps me guess how a colour will ‘blend’ with my natural colour.
Ie, yellow on a dark eye is grey/green but is yellow/white grey on my eye.
It only takes 10 seconds but is very enlightening..

Some of these lenses look to printed while others look okay. Not going for the fake look though. I like best the Hazel and green lenses (last pair showed). That's why we need videos like this, Thank you Fonz.

Tbh, when you started talking about the beleza grays pupil, I couldn’t agree on that because circular pupil holes are usually more preferable for the wear at night or evening because they simply look more natural in the nighttime than the "starburst" ones, making it look like your eyes have dilated. The starburst ones can make your eyes look distorted at night

Hi, thank you for the video and all efforts. Could you please do the comparison of daily and quarterly lenses? Precisely, I am interested in Golden Ocre and Dandara Hazel. But I am guessing that the latter is drastically light, which I find a bit disappointing. :(

I just ordered the beleza gray and the bosa nova gray can’t wait to try them! To me those are the most prettiest and more exotic especially since I love aquatic and sky eyes 👀
My Bossa Nova contacts look killer..... not fake looking or fish eyed. The colour is stimuli for teal grey green on my green hazel brown eyes.
The colour may not exist so frequently in real life.. but they don’t look fake on me. I wish I could post a photo here. Maybe they look different on dark eyes.. if you have light brown or lighter eyes, go for it! Stunning ❤️💕🌸
Is the iris (colored) part of the Aquarella Quarterly as wide across as that of Natural Colors Yearly?
The colors are beautiful, but I wish that they were more natural. These kind of green and blue are not natural. As you said before, the coverage is great, but I prefer a more "transparent" lens that blends with my eye color
And FINALLY they heard us. Eyes have ring around the iris!
We dont want an extreme ring like natural colors,but we need a ring. And this is just perfect.

@@sarahmalek1405 i do not contradict myself. There are good and bad characteristics about these lenses, and I said my point. Limbal ring is very good, but the lenses have a weird pupil hole.
Puedes realizar una comparación entre el Hidrocor Marine (descontinuado), Gemstone Aquamarine y el nuevo Bossa Nova Gray. Porfavor. Tengo los Hidrocor Marine, pero no se si valdría la pena comprar los otros dos, sería muy buena comparación e inversión si varían en tono y textura esos colores similares.

All these colours look very fake and are far too bright. The hazel is definitely not a hazel. Lens companies love making bright grey and orange lenses and calling them hazel. Hazel to me is a mixture of amber brown and green, not zombie grey. The greens are far too vivid and ‘in your face’, which is not a bad thing by any means but I’ve never seen anyone have green coloured eyes like that in real life. The grey and the blue are too textured. Disappointing. I’ll stick with Rio buzios.
gosh i wish we had a rio buzios in a quarterly lens. just something a littttle thinner so i can get through an entire work day without discomfort and redness. ;( i love that contact color.
I got the Dandara Hazel and they look very natural. Color is more grey on my eyes.

tight pupil holes never look natural, you want a large pupil hole that blends, example green and brown go together

@@michele6740 exactly also what's the point in doing a review if your not gonna do it in natural lighting ? I feel if you'd do it in natural lighting then you'd actually see what the colour look like in real life ring lights are deceiving

The colors are beautiful, maybe Cambucci are my favorite (despite the fact I'm not a big fan of green colors) and i consider them as the most natural BUT I'm a little bit conflicted about the pupil hole's design... For me I prefer the starburst design because it blends better with my natural color (this is my second year using Solotica Hidrocor Ice and I'm in love with it)... Great review and awesome content Fonz!

Now I’m scared since I ordered the Bossa Nova Grey. The colours look like bright anime 😢 I still think Hidrocor graphite is the most natural and beautiful tone that people won’t question if it’s fake or real. Update; just received Bossa nova Grey and it’s so ugly. I look like I have fish eyes and the pupil hole makes me looks like my eyes are looking on different directions 😩

Are Solotica lenses still moving inside the eye? and sometimes it pinches when your eyes blink? I bought most Solotica lenses while I was watching your lenses review. Because the colors are clear with your camera. But unfortunately every time I expect it to be better, but the same problems! By the way, I bought a lot of Anesthesia when I was watching your review, from Lens.me! They were and still are great without any problems. So I hope you will answer my question. Xoxo.

Solotica Contact Lenses have such beautiful colors and looks very natural in comparison with other contact lens brands. I repeat the only problem with Solotica is the material ,which is polymacon. Polymacon is a material or plastic used to create contacts back in the 60s and 70s ,which means that in those decades contact lens technologies aren’t advanced like in these days. Which means that they are a lot of countries around the world making contacts with this type of materials that only has 38% of water even if they are monthly replacement ,which don’t make any sense cause if a company made some monthly replacement lenses they suppose to have a higher water content like 45%, 55%, etc. Consequently this low water content give to the lenses a very low oxygen transmissibility constant (Dk/t), with values of (8-12) this oxygen transmissibility values are so low for your eyes to breathe. Your eyes need at least a 19-20 oxygen transmissibility constant to give your eyes more oxygen, and an oxygen transmissibility constant (Dk/t >100) to give your eyes full oxygen metabolism and good health. Cause your eyes ,specially your cornea is an avascular tissue which means it doesn’t have blood vessels. Consequently your cornea received oxygen by the environment in a process called diffusion. If there is something covering your cornea with such a low transmissibility constant this process of diffusion of oxygen couldn’t occur and if time passes your eyes start to enter in a hypoxia state and start to feel irritated, watery and the contacts start feeling uncomfortable. That’s why this type of contacts are NOT FDA approved and you won’t find any doctor or optical place were they sale them in the USA. If you plan to use contacts like this, is very important to use them occasionally for no more than 5 hours to evade hypoxia in your eyes. And never use this lenses in a daily basis ,there are not intended for that purpose . And if you are using this lenses in a daily basis please stop using them like this ,cause even if you are not experiencing anything in your eyes no matter if you have a couple of years using them the damage caused by this type of lenses is slow ,so if you are using them incorrectly you’ll see the consequences not in two or three years but maybe in ten to twelve years. I always tell to the patients NOT to use this type of lenses ( there NOT FDA Approved) but if they use them ,they do it by there own risk and they have to limit there time of use them only to 4-5 hours occasionally and NOT in a daily basis. Again this contacts are beautiful they offer beautiful colors and look very very natural, but the technology behind those lenses are way to old and they need to refresh them specially if some day want to be FDA approved. I conclude saying that color contacts are not a game ,there not like buying make up or nail polish. Color contacts and every type of contact lenses are medical devices and every one who planned use them need to go to a health professional and get an eye exam in order to see if they need some correction or if they have a different base curve in their eyes that need a different type of lenses. Also they need proper care and hygiene in order to evade any aye infection that can potentially put your eyes on risk. And to mention that eye hypoxia caused by poor oxygen transmissibility by contacts can also put your eyes on risk of several eye infections and even neovascularisation of the cornea a condition in which the cornea begin to develop blood vessels because the lack of sufficient oxygen. Please you only have two eyes take care of them and do not take color contacts like a game.

I agree that Solotica should keep the texture consistent. I don’t like the gray/white colored spotiness on some of the colors. It makes the lens look too fake.

Go for the ones with the transparent starburst effect so it blends with your own eye
Most pupil holes still look a little too large to me compared to a real eye. Maybe one day they'll be dead on . 🤷♂️

I was so disappointed in the Aquarella Daily lenses, so fake looking, like coloured lenses from the 1980s. These new ones don't look much better. The Hidrocor monthly are the most realistic.

wow very fake looking lenses, hole punch fish eye center and pixelated pattern. Cambuci is a nice color but still far inferior to Anesthesia Fonesta. Literally you cannot see a single pixel on Fonesta.
